Our 8 year old daughter just had to have an emergency appendectomy last week. Dr. Emslander came in on the night rotation and checked in on us. Just after talking to her for a few minutes, I felt as if I had known this woman my whole life! She was amazingly patient with our stubborn daughter who just wanted to go home, even got her up and walking so her tummy would start making those "fart bubble" noises. She came back 2 more times before we were discharged, and I was just so impressed with her and her glowing personality. She brings comfort, warmth, and professionalism with her in any room she enters, I would change providers if my daughters Dr. wasn't just as great as Dr. Emslander (and turns out they are very good friends!) I would of course, and actually have already recommended Dr. Emslander to a few of my friends, our time with her was like a breath of fresh air after spending all night in the e.r. with all the covid-19 precautions in place. She gets 5 stars from our family!!
