I have seen a colorectal doctor for care for over 17 years. Due to his retirement I need to find a new doctor. I looked at reviews before scheduling with Dr. Elhassan. I have never been to a doctor where I was readied for an exam that included disrobing before ever meeting the doctor! Awkward to say the least!! Add to that extreme pain during an exam that was not acknowledged and seemingly ignored I will not be choosing Dr. Elhassan for any further care.

This man saved my mother's life!!! He was always there with us through all the tests and results, explaining all the way; even showed me the films saying we need to operate right away. He was new to my mom but treated her with care and respect...and gained hers. He is now my doctor and wouldn't trade him for the world. He's a very special doctor and wonderful man!

My experience overall is 5 Star. Dr. Elhassan and the staff at PPG Colon Rectal Surgery were very attentive, insightful and willing to take the time to help me with a difficult lifetime problem. Who knew probiotics (Align) along with daily Miralax and Benefiber could help me with a lifetime of IBS. Thank you Dr. Elhassan. Life is MUCHO SWEETER!

I was sent to the ER on DuPont after having a CT scan at Parkview Columbia City. He met us in the holding room after another CT scan and told me you have early stages of stage 4 colon cancer. He immediately told us he will set up surgery in 4 days and remove tumor and get me back on my feet and on to recovery. He was to the point and very helpful to my wife and my three girls. Always positive attitude and that carried over to my family. Everything is great anday he is a great man!! Thank You!!

After my moms surgery , we never saw him again after recovery . For 5 weeks my mom screamed in pain. She was treated horribly & we were lied to time after time . I was told she had gas & she died days later , I still don't know why my mom is now gone . Horrible care

He and his nurses were so considerate and nice. Dr. Elhassan was wonderful in explaining my surgery and afterwards explained what he he had done. He did a wonderful job on my colon surgery and I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs surgery. His whole staff is so respectable like him and they listen . Thank you so much for making me comfortable and taking care of me. God bless you all
