I’ve been a patient of Dr Salam for about 2 years. She is an excellent listener and very kind. She helps me navigate through other specialties for various medical problems. I would highly recommend her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Salam for 3 years. She has been a great doc for me in that time. She is very knowledgeable and also an excellent listener. As a senior I try to be proactive about my health. Knowing this she has helped me to continue in that direction directly or referring me to some of the other great doctors in the Starling group. She has a very good sense of humor and is very personable. All these attributes make going for my visits something I look forward to. I make a list of my questions in advance so I am prepared when the visit starts. I am grateful for all she has done for me in understanding my health and which priorities to focus on for best results.

Dr Hoda Salam is absolutely a horrible doctor. To much to list as far as issues with her as my PCP for a little over a year. Don't let her reviews fool you. she is nothing but a billing machine that keeps you coming in. Heaven forbid you request a referral or tell her you want a second opinion. She will fight you on your request. I wanted a referral to a neurologist and she reluctantly did it. I told her I wanted a second opinion when she stated she wanted to start treating me for diabetes, My records were transferred to the doctor doing the second opinion and she turned around and discharged me to that doctor as my new PCP. I had to call her office and threatened to not only leave my other pulmonary Dr in her office. I threatened to have my wife, son, and daughter leave their practice also. she finally corrected the issue. she discharged me because in her exact words '' At Starling if the patient is unhappy with their care they discharge them" If you value your health, Stay away.
