First impressions, ugh!
First impressions, ugh! Drove 1.25 hours for 5 minutes. Little conversation before being given card with certain things circled that I was suppose to do, then return in a month. Nothing explained further. Follow up appointment today. Expectation is low.

NEVER AGAIN!
Shame on you! For so long I thought it was just me...that my news was just difficult for me. Nobody, especially in your profession would be as brash as you were perceived. Today you left another person, I deeply care for, feeling emotionally bankrupt due to your apathetic effect. Your lacking regard for the feelings of others is disgusting. You are a decent physician who becomes dreaded with apprehension. Please educate yourself in the basics of human nature. Quit destroying what remains of personal dignity.

The best Colorectal surgeon in NWA
Dr Rogers called me on his day off to see if I could meet with him prior to the storm that was going to happen. He wanted to make sure that he was able to see me and not have to have me wait and delay a procedure. He explained and was very upfront and informative on my condition. I am blessed to have Dr Rogers as part of my care team.

Dr. Stays too busy but seems knowledgeable and tho
He fit me in after complications from a rectocele repair. He was in a hurry, but the nurse and he both listened to my issues. He looked me over, explained what the process would be, and scheduled me for some more technical exams. Fistula was very tiny. I believe they'd just relocated, it was during covid craziness, and overall I felt that staff made their best effort to maintain a positive attitude. Dr. Roger's called me the day after my colonoscopy and spoke with me about everything. When he had urgent family circumstances, they were making sure to get all scheduled patients taken care of first. I've seen other doctors and surgeons and I honestly appreciated all Dr. Roger's and his staff was dealing with and had done for me. I do recommend, and yes there will be waits and rushing because there are a lot of people to be seen and just not enough doctors, much less specialists, to keep Dr. Roger's was not able to fix my problem, but encouraged me to come back if it worsened.

3-month wait for a 2-minute visit
I've never felt so rushed and ignored by a doctor. He was literally walking out the door while I was still asking him questions. After a three-month wait and $250 out of pocket, I'd hoped for at least a little bit of personal attention.

Dr Rogers has given me my quality of life back! He is so knowledgeable and skilled as a surgeon. Dr. Rogers has done three major procedures on me for treatment colorectal cancer, and each one was a great success. I will always be his biggest fan, even though he's an LSU fan. Ha ha!

.Dr. Rogers saved my life. I was extremely sick. My gut nearly burst and that would have killed me from infection. My ability to technically tell you about this is limited. My road to recovery has been a long one where had things gone the wrong way then. I might not be writing this review. Because we have to continue to use our digestive system this area is very slow to heal. Waiting for health to return is frustrating. I had to have an ostomy bag on my left side after my first surgery. (Pleas

Poor bedside manner, poor treatment from staff, little time taken to explain what to expect post-surgery. Still not convinced the condition has been remedied. Avoid this doctor.

Overbooks his surgery suite. His nursing staff is incompetent. Has no idea how to care for or monitor diabetic patients. He nearly killed me. I left without having my procedure and several others still had not had theirs either. The nurses refused to check my blood sugar, which was 38 when I left.

Dr. Hollis Rogers was able to remove large colon polyps without major surgery , 2 other doctors had said I needed a colostomy bag, Dr. Rogers set my mind at ease saying even if he had to do surgery he would use robot hands u would have less pain and faster healing time ... its been 2 years! I'm still under close watch but I feel like I'm in the best hands possible !

Dr Rogers is a caring and well respected Dr. He was recommended by every dr I spoke with. He has explained and kept us informed of everything related to my diagnosis and coordinated with my GI Doc, my oncologist, and my radiation oncologist. I would highly recommend him. I chose him over going out of state. ??

This man is in the wrong profession. I was misdiagnosed, mistreated and thankfully I got a 2nd opinion. I had radiation therapy for prostate cancer two years ago. Last July I started getting hemorroids really bad (due to stress, very difficult time in my life) and developed serious rectal fissures. Pain level 8-10 for 8-10 hours a day. Rogers is a brute in his exams, said it was from radiation, etc. My life was bad. Turns out I needed LIS surgery. Found another surgeon and am recovering well.

Dr. Rogers is an arrogant doctor who should have his license revoked! He did my dad's colon resection and nearly killed him. His bedside manner is poor and his empathy and compassion are low. Not only did he blotch the surgery but after the surgery, he did not show up to check on my dad for four days. Please rethink using this doctor!

Dr. Rogers may be a good surgeon but his response and concern to complications after surgery were horrible. Still dealing with challenges after surgery from over a year ago and had to go to several other doctors for help. Had the risks associated with the surgery been communicated, me and my family would have made a different decision. We have traded one problem for another and Dr. Rogers concern and empathy has been very lacking.

Dr Rogers is very good at what he does. I saw 3 specialists before him who weren't able to diagnose me and he had my issue diagnosed within the first 5 minutes. Following up with testing to confirm his suspicions. He has operated on me 3 times now and I couldn't be more pleased with his skill and care. He has taken the extra time to help address all of my issues over the years and always answers any questions I have. He an his staff are always friendly and helpful &I make you comfortable!
