Dr. Holly Beck, DPM

I came to Dr. Beck after my previous podiatrist sold his practice to her. She is a terrific doctor, offering services beyond what my previous podiatrist did. I have been able to progress further figuring out some balance concerns I had based on my experience with her.

Went to see her based on referral from friend who treated him for morton's neuroma, which I was told by another pod I had in both feet. She confirmed diagnosis, and I went through alcohol and cortisone shots to no avail. I was leery of surgery to remove the nerve based on poor success rates and possibility more pain. She sensed this and told me about hot laser treatments they offer, but not covered by ins. = $3K. I was desperate for relief so I agreed, paid, and had several weeks of treatment that only made it worse. She stated I had to have nerve removed. I had surgery to free the trapped nerve, not remove, done by another pod. It was also unsuccessful. Finally, I saw a neurologist - I have neuropathy, not MN! Two years worth of treatments and $$$ lost. She never even mentioned neuropathy as a possibility. Tunnel vision. Beware, ask lots of questions, self-advocate!
