Worth the wait for a visit
Dr McCarty has been my OBGYN since 2022. I was originally a loyal IU patient but after the death of my infant son, which was preventable, I completely switched over to Franciscan and have been so impressed with the care! I did see another older OB in office but I didn't click well with her and switched to Dr McCarty, who I clicked with right away. As an example of her great patient care, I had an outpatient ultrasound last year to monitor an early pregnancy and found out that the baby had passed away. Dr McCarty was booked full that day but she immediately prioritized seeing me in between patients given the situation and my history. Even though she was busy, she answered all of my questions and was so sympathetic. She genuinely cares, which I can't say my previous OB did at all. I highly recommend her!

Respectful and caring
Have had my annual done with Dr McCarty the last few years. Today I had surgery. She and all of the other staff/providers that I interacted with today were kind, caring, responsive and respectful. This is a 'sensitive' area for many (most?) women, and they all treated me with the sensitivity needed in this situation. I highly recommend Dr McCarty and everyone I dealt with in the surgery department at Franciscan.

Excellent!!
She made me feel so comfortable and took her time explaining everything to me. Definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had with a doctor.
