Dr. Hooman Parsi, MD

This was the most awful experience I have ever had with a 'Doctor'. This 'Doctor' was extremely rude and disrespectful. He came into the room with no greeting, never discussed a treatment plan just started telling me what he was going to order. I stated that I was supposed to get a PET scan, he then stated ' if you don't get the Chemo you are going to die in 6 months! Shouldn't I get the scan so we can see the full picture? He said ' I'll order the scan see you in 3 weeks. Needless to say, I never went back. This man needs a heart and some empathy!!!

Decided to go to different Oncologist. Dr Hooman Parsi was definitely not the Dr we’re looking for. Visited his office around 3 times. He just reviewed informations in his laptop that’s all! I don’t even recall if he look at my mom, he just ask 3 questions and that all done for today. He is useless! I definitely not recommending him to any patients.

After several visits I decided to seek another doctor in the group. He has no personally or bedside manner. I have met several new doctors the past year and all were great. Unfortunately he is closer to my home but preferred to drive a little frther for an md with compassion and cares about the condition.

Dr Parsi is the best thing that happened to me after I was diagnosed with metastasize breast cancer . Have had several good Ongologist since 2001. Dr Parsi is by far the best always honest about by situation and if a medicine has lost the effectiveness he always find a better medicine I trust hem completely

Very pleasant experience. Accommodating staff. Very prompt. No waiting. Accurate diagnosis and easy treatment. I highly recommend this office.

The staff is very nice but Dr. Parsi in rude and condescending. I had a very aggressive form of breast cancer 20 years ago that has a greater chance of recurring as time passes. My old oncologist (my insurance changed or I would still be with her) recommended yearly check ups and PET scans for life. Because of life its been 6 years since I had a visit. Dr. Parsi told me I was being ridiculous for coming in after 20 years. Refused to to any testing other than a mamogram on my other breast. Did not address my pain concerns (didn't even exam). After review my records he admitted I had a very aggressive BC and lots of lymph node involvement at the time..and yes it can come back but still did nothing. Then asked me "How did YOU get Herceptin in 2002" like I was a criminal..I won't go back..I am a well informed medical professional myself. This was an awful experience.

Dr. Parsi is an absolutely AMAZING Doctor. His skills and bedside manner are exceptional. He is very caring and compassionate. He spends his time with you, going over any, and all questions/concerns.

Takes his time to understand the problem and explains things to you in lay language.

I came here because I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I expected to be treated with compassion and care…instead I was treated with a condescending attitude as well as with zero empathy. First off, someone was arguing with the receptionist while I was waiting to check-in. Next, I’m taken to a room that hadn’t been cleaned; the paper on the exam table was wrinkled where the previous person sat. I had to pull down a clean area myself. Next, Dr. Hooman Parsi came in and told me, “You have breast cancer.” Duh. He continued, “I need to examine you.” Then called his receptionist in to be in the exam with him. He then said, “I need to examine you,” again. I asked, “Don’t I need a gown?” Him, “Oh, do you want one?” Me, “yes.” Neither he, nor the receptionist move so after about 30 very awkward seconds, I just took my top and bra off. Him, “You need some lab work and I won’t see you again until after your surgery.” Me, “Can you explain to me what my options are?” Him, “You will

He's terrific and cares about me and my treatment. He is patient and has my history and information in front of him, and he has read it. The office in Mission Hills is clean and comfortable, his staff is very nice, very efficient. I am fortunate to have this care.

This review is for Dr. Hooman Parsi and the his staff. Very rude, unprofessional service. Dr. never takes his time to listen the patient as soon as he enters the room he wants to leave . He never say hello or introduced himself the first time like other doctors. Front office lady name Carmen she goes by Carrie super unprofessional and poor service. Please do not go to this doctor and waste your time and money . Go to the doctor who is professional and knows what he is doing. YOU DESERVE THE BEST CARE UNLIKE AT DR. PARSI"S OFFICE.
