Did not listen to patient
I went in to ask for an oral food challenge to learn the extent of my food allergies as to join the military and did not even get a chance to start the challenge. Dr. Brown immediately said no to the option and left no further action for myself to take. He instead wanted to start me on allergy patches and all of the work when I did not ask for any of the treatments. I went there for an oral food challenge and Dr. Brown attempted to do the routine process of injections and the sorts. TL;DR: Dr. Brown does not listen to the patient and will not acquiesce to the patient's concerns or goals.

Uncaring and callous
After my first rapid treatment I wound up in the ER within hours. I called the office from the ER to find out exactly what they gave me. I was told he was busy. When I finally got him on the phone, he was unconcerned and uncaring. Then I called to get my records so I can take them to my PCP, and they refused to give them to me. One would think with the seriousness of my reaction to allergy testing, they would have monitored me and adjusted the treatment based on my severe reaction to the testing. One would think they'd be concerned about a patient winding up in the ER after treatment. Nope.

??WARNING?? DO NOT GO HERE?? I have been dealing with negligence from Dr. Brown since the beginning. I only stuck with him because I thought it would be extremely difficult to find a new doctor ,but I rather not have a doctor than ever go back to him, or wait around for him to call for our scheduled phone appointment just for him to call hours late or not call at all like our first phone appointment which I had to wait over a month for. I have been having to go to the emergency room over and over for unknown allergies (hence why I’m see dr.brown.), after I told them that they told me I it would be a month before I could even talk to him on the phone. When that day came, he NEVER called, and it was in a Friday so I couldn’t call them until the following Monday which then I was rescheduled, not for that day but another week later. He was once again very late for this phone appointment just total disregard for anybody but himself. Over a week later still no word still no prescriptions

This man is amazing. He saved my life 40 years ago, and kept me healthy through my teen years. My mother trusted him to be at our house when her last child was born at home and all went well. I know that many of us owe our lives to him. I can say from experience that wait times seemed long every week when I went to my standing Wednesday appointment as a child, but it was always worth it when he smiled at me and sometimes actually hugged me. He always had a smile and something nice to say.

Always a long wait.. 45min to 1 hour. A few of my appointments I'm there 45 minutes before he is even in the building. Poor scheduling.

He's a fantastic Dr. if you would only know how many people he has helped in all his years. He's the best allergist you could find and of course you need to follow up with the immunizations and the treatment. Of course depends what kind of insurance you have that pays for the follow ups. If you have Medi-Cal it will only pay the minimum what twice a month if so, surely you will not be getting the help as someone who has insurance and pays a co-pay because they are getting their treatment.

He is incompetent. You should go to a real ENT. He is old and tired and only wants to give you shots on a regular basis. He will do no real exam or evaluation of your problem. Do not get sucked in by this guy. He travels all over the place to keep people coming to him but no office to go see him other times. Stay away!!!!!!
