Dr. Howard Blaustein, MD

I will not return to this so called Doctor, he makes me wait for over an hour to 2 hours every time I come to his office. He always had a previous emergency. Then you hear him in the hallway saying,"She can wait" No I cannot wait, my time is valuable too, try getting a flu shot, that is another experience. Oh we don't do them here, you have to go downstairs and I will call and see if someone can do that for you. Never use this man!

Incompetent egomaniac.

I was recently admitted to the hospital presenting with a constrictive trachea, with Dr. Blaustein on rotation. I offered him numerous pages of information regarding my very long history of 8 pulmonary diseases/disorders, which he chose to ignore. His 'diagnoses' all turned out to be incorrect and he refused to have me tested. I found him to be VERY dismissive to my questions and towards me as his patient. I fired him. I soon had extremely competent doctors who diagnosed me properly.

Our family's experience with Dr. Blaustein who has been our primary care doctor for well over a decade has been excellent. He found my husband's prostate cancer through a physical exam before the specialist did and he requires/encourages me to get a chest ray each year at my annual physical even thought I only smoked for 1 year forty years ago. He is very careful. He takes time to listen and is a genuinely nice person and very thorough physician.

NEVER EVER go to this doctor. He is COMPLETELY unprofessional, beyond RUDE, and unethical. He saw that there was something in my family member's lung, did not even request for a CT scan then, waited 5 months for the tumor to double in growth, then after there was a biopsy done and the results came back the same day, his staff lied TWICE that the results were in. The diagnosis is cancer and the dr lied to our family's face about when he got the results, and was EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional.
