In my search for answers to my chronic pain, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Goldberg, since gastrointestinal issues were a part of my problem. Dr. Goldberg cut me off before I could finish explaining my issues, and referenced blood work and diagnosis from 5 years ago. I explained that a lot had changed since the last time I came to capital digestive care, but he insisted I was experiencing essentially the same symptoms. He said he didn't really have any answers for my bloating and didn't think it was gastro-related, which is fair... and told me to alter my diet. I reviewed the diet and discovered that I'm already following those guidelines, he said I should try taking Gas X and using a heating pad. Thanks, I've been doing that for a while now. I would avoid him - he really just wasted my time. I wish there were more GI docs in this region not associated with capital digestive care.

Came after hospitalization with sharp pain. The doctor was plainly rude. He was more interested why did I came to see him instead my previous gastroenterologist than actually ask about my problems and listen. Bad unprofessional attitude: rude , demeaning, up to a point of being sarcastic. Needed to literally ask him to prescribe labs. All he wanted to give me is a higher dosage of my old meds. Useless and disrespectful. Avoid at all costs. Had an impression that he is not interested in patients and their troubles anymore. It's definitely time to retire. Pitiful display for a doctor. Left humiliated and and disappointed. never again.

Abysmal. Terrible. Unable to help at all. Avoid at all costs. This place should be shut down for so many reasons. Never go here. Don't believe anyone who tells you this is even a competent GI office.

Very pleased with his colonoscopy procedure- no complications or other issues from the exam. He is friendly and answers questions, but does tend to be a little quick in his answers. Overall, very pleased with his professionalism.

Dr. Goldberg is the definition of an ideal physician. He Is very personable, his bedside manner is very calm and caring. He listens to everything you have to say, and never seems in a rush to see the next patient. He is very thorough and careful. I recommend him to everyone I know. The staff is very friendly and nice which is a massive bonus because in most medical offices, this is definitely not the case. As a doctor myself I give them 10 stars. Other medical office should take notes!

No matter what you have going on Dr Goldberg always helps to put my mind at ease. He clearly cares for his patients and as someone who has a lot on my plate at the moment it makes all the difference. I have already sent two patients to see Dr Goldberg and they feel the same way!

Only gave one star since zero stars isn't an option. This person was outrageously condescending and dismissive, wouldn't look at the test results from my recent hospitalization for gastrointestinal distress, ignored my paperwork from another gastroenterologist about an ongoing condition, threw my paperwork in my face and WROTE ME A PRESCRIPTION FOR ANTIDEPRESSANTS. Misogynistic, combative, rude and most importantly a complete failure at meeting his hippocratic oath.

Dr. Goldberg was a huge help. After having my gallbladder removed by another doctor I continued to have symptoms. A few months after the surgery I had a scare that worried my primary care doctor and my radiologist, so Dr Goldberg was able to fit me in to see me the same day. He showed genuine concern for me, explained everything in easy terms and personally made sure I had all of the tests and procedures I needed done within just a few days. He was reassuring, kind and very competent.

The doctor was good at performing the needed tests and identifying the problem. He prescribed medication but was not cooperative enough when it came to discussing changes in lifestyle. I didn't feel I have a partner who listens and willing to help me through my journey to complete healing without dependency on medication.
