I had an appointment at 9:50 a. m. on 4/23/21 at his Sumter, SC office. I arrived at 9:30 a.m., saw an assistant at 11:00, saw Dr. Greene and another Assistant about 15 minutes later. He examined my eyes, dictated his findings to the Assistant apparently for patient records and referred me to someone about an operation which I had not even thought about yet. He did not explain what he found until I asked him what an Astigmatism was. Dr. Greene is medically very capable but as far as communicating the information that one needs to make a decision, he leaves much to be desired.

Drove 1 1/2 hours to this office and was herded into a room packed with people that had all been waiting for far too long. I asked an assistant how long my wait would be since I had obligations later in the day. She told me Dr Greene is typically backed up on Mondays and that “we only have four techs”. Basically she had no idea other than that there were 5 people ahead of me. I had arrived 30 min early just in case. Would have been nice to have had a heads up.I had to leave .
