Dr. Huey relates well to me, as a patient. His recommendations for medications to deal with my diabetes have all been very helpful in controlling my sugar levels successfully. He has found medical issues that are not related to diabetes, and he has recommended that I see other professionals to deal with them. I think he has kept me healthy and able to function very well in all aspects of my life. He has been my primary doctor for 20 years. After I moved from Manhattan to New Jersey, I have tried other endocrinologists closer to home, but I was not as comfortable with them as I am with Dr. Huey. I still travel to him every 3 months, because I trust him to do what is best for me.

Great experience with Dr. Huey and his staff. He cares about his patients and the staff is always very accommodating. Wait times have varied for me, but at the end of the day, I'm glad to have a doctor who cares about my health and is willing to take the time to explain things to me.

I waited 2.5 hours my first appointment. Second appointment even longer, 3 hours. They do not withdraw blood there. Instead he will send you to a lab where you have to wait even more. When 6 months of medication ran out, I was told I would get a reminder. I never got one and I instead called to schedule an appointment. He was out on vacation for 3 weeks and I had no medication to hold me over. I had to find another doctor. He then made it difficult to get my records to give to the next doc
