Incompetent, uncaring, unresponsive
I have profound sleep apnea in fact Dr. Palay himself said that I am probably in the top 2% of his patients for a need for sleep apnea equipment. After a visit in January he said he ordered sleep apnea equipment but the Medicare provider never responded. After a number of phone calls I found out they never received the order. So I went back to Mountain medical associates and Dr. Palay's staff to make them aware of this, not once but several times but they would never follow through to see if the providers received the order. They just slop the doctors instructions on a fax machine press a button and hit send and think that everything is okay. It is now July, I still don't have my sleep apnea breathing equipment, I have been contacted by nobody and I have reached out to even the office manager at Mountain medical associates and I can get no one there to take anything seriously. Even when I explained the gravity of the situation and all the things that I have time to resolve this

I had an emergency room visit for sudden and severe vertigo. The ER doctor recommended a follow up appointment be made with Dr Palay. I called the following day to make the appointment and was by Dr Palay’s staff that they would not schedule an appointment for me and that “the emergency room would have to make the referral and that they knew that”. How unprofessional to put the patient in the middle of their issues! So, now, I’m left without follow up. I will be asking my PCP to help me and to schedule me with anyone other than Dr Palay - as I have zero confidence in the ethics, courtesy or professionalism of he or his staff.
