DR WOO WAS VERY THOROUGH & INFORMATIVE

Post emergency room visit due to what I thought was appendicitis, Dr. Woo was following up a few days later on what turned out to be a 4 mm kidney stone that he was so concerned about that he had me come in on what, unbeknown to me at the time, was his first day of vacation. Needless to say, he is extremely thorough in his diagnosis and treatment, leaving no room for assumptions and guesswork. He is a good listener and communicates well, sharing all the data from the tests he ordered with me at each visit where applicable. That approach to health care is exactly what I look for and care about because it is a true partnership between physician and patient. It helps me understand what I need to do to take preventive steps going forward to mitigate any future health issues within my control.

I have been seeing doctor Woo since I was 18 years old. I have urological conditions that cause recurring infection and chronic pain. He truly cares about his patients and helped me feel at ease at a young age when I was very scared about what the future held.

Dr. Woo is a fantastic Urologist and one of the best doctors I’ve seen. He is extremely knowledgeable, is very detailed when explaining his diagnosis (step by step), and always remembers where we are in our conversation about my medical history. He’s also a very friendly doctor and mindful of one’s overall care. I highly recommend you pay him a visit if you are seeking a first time or new Urologist.

I travel 2.5 hours to see Dr. Woo. He is a positive person, patiently and thoroughly explains his opinion, and is obviously very knowledgeable.
