Dr. Howard Yang, MD

Dr. Howard Yang refused to see me on Friday April 2, 2021 because I was late for my appointment due to being stuck in traffic due to construction. I showed up and he refused to see me. He himself has canceled on me three times in the past three years. Dr. Yang utilizes his computer when performing any exam and constantly types in the system to get the desired answer. Has very poor bed side manner. Is too quick in performing exams. Had to go back multiple times to get the correct response. My wife and daughter are both nurses and seem to know more than Dr. Yang. I do not recommend any one to see him. He is very lazy in his practice an uncaring. Very poor follow up. They want the patient to do all of the work.

The physical you get from Dr. Yang is barely a physical. He doesn't seem to want to actually touch you. Doesn't feel your neck or check much of anything, really. Mostly just asks questions and enters info on his laptop. Barely makes eye contact. I go to him for the convenience (prescriptions mostly) and get my "real" physical from my GYN. That said, the office staff is very efficient. Dr. Yang and his nurses are very responsive to online questions, prescription refills and requests.

I went to Yang for several years. I’m healthy so I didn’t realize how little he was doing until the last 2 physicals. But the last one was the clincher, a yearly physical, strong family history of diabetes, hbp, heart disease, stroke. I was 46. No recent tests and he came in, looked at the nurses notes, asked how I was and I told him, I wanted to get EVERYTHING checked to baseline my risks. He disregarded my thoughts, never got out of his chair. Never even put his stethoscope in his ears. Nothin

I will NEVER see this person again! No compassion whatsoever, horrible attitude, and so lazy that he refused to get back out of his chair to see something I was trying to show him. Refused to order testing of any kind (even lab work) or any meds at all. If you need medical care, go elsewhere because you won't get it from him!

This dr lacks any bed side manner what so ever! I came in to see him because I had health concerns, this was my first visit. He spent 30 minutes typing in answers to the questions that I had previously filled out and brought with me.When towards the end of my visit I mentioned maybe we should check my blood to see what's going on(given the history of heart disease and cancers).he's reply was that I would have to come in again and he simply can't order blood work today.what kind of dr does that??
