Dr Tan for pain management is wonderful….
Dr Tan and his staff are wonderful. My back is better than it has been in years. Those shots worked. Dr Tan is patient with me and listens. He really looks at the images taken to figures out the problem and what to do to fix it. So thankful for you Dr Tan.

Concerned and caring doctor and staff!
Dr. Tan takes the time to listen and explain treatment options. After a radiologist let Dr. Tan know that something looked a little unusual in my uterus after an MRI on my hips, he made sure I was aware and could follow-up with a gynecologist. Tina not only let me know, she followed up. I couldn't get an appointment until March, but Tina encouraged me to go through my primary care doctor and get one sooner. Thanks to her concern, I recently had surgery and a very early stage cancer was found and removed.

Thank You Pain Free!
Multiple trips to the er for radiating down my arm. After nerve conductivity they sent me to Dr. Tan. He was very thorough with me and very clear with his answer to my questions. In my business we do safety take 10’s and I thought it was cool that I’m the or the huddled and did exactly that. After shot I was pain free for about 9 months. Longer than expected and it was easy to get rescheduled. Tina in the office is awesome as well and remembers people, it’s nice to have a personal touch to ease your nerves. Thanks Dr Tan and staff!

A very strong 5/5 from me for Dr. Tan. He clearly knows his field, and found my problem and its solution he did steroid injections in two locations, several months apart, and my pain is very much reduced.

Dr. Tan listens carefully and answers all my questions. Today I want to highlight how his staff dealt with an angry patient. They respected her while explaining that she was mistaken. That's not easy. Although the patient left angry, she was heard. The women at the front desk did their job perfectly. Five stars aren't enough!

I only have had my first visit with Dr. Tam but I am so impressed with his ability to want to solve my medical issues. He is a caring and thorough physician. He has ordered tests to get my health back in order. I would highly recommend Dr. Tam to anyone who wants to get healthy and have resolved health problems. He is very detailed and thorough and his staff is the same.

My back was bothering me when I exercised, so I visited a chiropractor. At the 3rd visit, my adjustment caused me to have to go to the hospital. The pain was so great that my blood pressure was extremely high. I was there for 5 days. Dr. Tan was my life saver. He got me in for a office visit and scheduled my procedure quickly. My pain was relieved immediately. We are blessed to have great doctors in our area, especially like Dr. Tan. He is a top Doc in my eyes, along with his nurse Tina??

I found Dr Tan to be a very knowledgeable, capable, and caring doctor. There is a wait when you get to his office, but I found that he likes to be very thorough with his patients. You don't feel rushed, he answers all your questions. He took the time to explain to my husband and I, in detail, exactly what he was going to do during my surgery. Not all surgeons do this, so it gave me enormous comfort. I got about 90% relief from the RFA, which should hopefully last a good 6-18 months. Or more. I would definitely recommend Dr Tan to friends and family.

I found myself, ever so fortunate, to have had access to a doctor like Dr. Tan who recognizes patients as people rather than someone not worthy of his time due to their age. He has treated me with the utmost care and patience and over all the years I have seen him, has never failed to take his time in being sure I understand the causes of my problems and what is needed to give the best and quickest results. I know he is extremely busy but he still takes his time in making sure I understand what he is trying to tell me . Whatever he feels to be in my best interest, be it a procedure or change in medication, I can always be assured that his two assistants, Tina and Joshua, will process his directives promptly and to the letter so, consequently, I have no hesitation with recommending him to anyone. You're fortunate to have them on your staff.

Such a relief after many years to have found someone like Dr. Tan who has taken a personal interest in helping address many of the problems I have encountered as I aged. Let's be realistic, not everything can be resolved but he certainly does his utmost to see to it that if it couldn't be cured, he'll do his best to see that I had as much pain relief as possible. Most times I'm out of his office before scheduled time is reached but always felt I was the only patient he had to see that day. Absolutely no rush whatsoever. Also have to give utmost credit to his assistants, Tina and Joshua, who from behind the scenes, make things go smoothly. All three are great and work so well together that I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them, individually or together, to anyone that I know and, in fact, have . . . Great job always !!!

Just wanted to share our positive experience with Dr. Tan. My 75 yr mother has seen Dr. Tan for various conditions, most recently for back and leg pain when it began to affect the quality of her life. After various visits to her family dr and no relief from oral steroids and OTC pain relief and countless scans, we requested a referral to a pain mgt dr and a neurosurgeon to explore her options (diagnosed with spondylosis and slipped disc). It didn't take long to get an appointment with Dr. Tan and he quickly determined that she did not want surgery (last resort) and wanted a conservative approach to her treatment options. Dr. Tan recommended rehab therapy as an initial step, and discussed epidural shots. She was very weary of the shot, so she did rehab and was able to get some relief however, she was at a point where she wanted to see family in TX and he then suggested the shot as a next step. He took his time to show her her images, demonstrated where he would do the procedure and

I was referred by my primary physician (A Baptist MD) as I was in alot of pain from an accident. Dr. Tan was more interested in pushing physical therapy than my injuries. He is there to grow the Andrews/Baptist money pit, just like my primary. He could care less. I want nothing more to do with Baptist.

Wife has brittle bones, and the bone and spine issues that come with them. She recently started having severe lower back and hip pain. She had injections years ago and a fusion. We called his office, just to see if he wanted to see her or go to GP. He got her in within two days. Did his exam, ordered scans. Got scans done, took back to him, he looked at them same day, called wife at 6pm. Said he did not see anything, ordered labs, but wanted her to come in. We were happy he did not see anything, and happier he told her to come back. On second exam, the pain had moved slightly lower. So he ordered new scan. We have seen him twice in seven days. Waited less than 20 minutes from appointment time till he was in front of us both times. Fully explained any question and charted all symptoms fully. I honestly don’t know how people can have such an opposite experience with him, Hillary, and Tina. They have always been great. Semper Fi.

Doctor Tan listened to my problems and figured out how to help me! I am so grateful! I have been limping for nearly 10 years after having both hips replaced. Dr. Tan figured out my leg and rear muscles on the right side were at fault and sent me to physical therapy. I can walk normally! Thank you Dr. Tan! Multiple visits to other doctors were useless. Only Dr. Tan figured out how to help me

Dr.Tan is a terrible Dr. He did an RFA procedure on me in 2018 and it was pure torture. He would not allow the anesthesia dr to give me enough medication. My body flew off the table THREE TIMES.It is necessary to be awake for this procedure, but there was NEVER ANY PAIN in the past. I still have the scares on my back today from what he did to me.I had the same procedure done by a different Dr previously so I was aware of how it should could feel.Unfortunately, I was in Hurricane Michael 2 weeks after my procedure so I couldn't make it back for my follow-up appointment to complain about him in person. This man should have his license removed !

All ego and overcautious of protecting his license with labeling and generalizing the younger patients while keeping a full repeat schedule of insured senior citizens. Typical run of mill doc, he’s cool cuz he has his weightlifting photos on the wall! He’ll feed you a load if you don’t respond well to any alternative treatments, and so will the goon squad of front desk staff and nurses or cna’s or whatever the hell they are. Good luck if you get referred to see him with real problems that require actual diagnosis, your in for a treat!
