Terrible Doctor
Provider was condescending and the worst I've seen…I’ve seen a lot of doctors so that’s a statement. If you have any chronic skin conditions I do not recommend Dr. Dorris. If standard treatments don’t help he will gaslight you and say to just deal with it and live with it. He’s absolutely arrogant as well and acts like he knows so much about medicine when in reality if he did he’d be more successful in treatment of complex skin conditions. Plenty of other dermatologists in Asheville that are better, don’t waste you time at Forrest Dermatology.

As a male patient this is the only male doctor I have who has a chaperone (always female) in the examining room during the exam. I tend to be uncomfortable with this but am never asked before hand if this is OK, although one time when I specifically asked if I could have some privacy alone with the doctor during a below the waist portion of the exam I was granted. Still I would much prefer the entire exam to be one on one or at the very least to not have the exam be in mixed company.
