Illness
I saw Dr O’Neill a few years back with an esophagus issue. He kept telling me the problem was getting better but in fact it wasn’t and I had to have 3/4 of my esophagus removed. I would not not recommend him to anyone.

Discharged me from rehab before I could even get myself out of bed or do steps because he’s afraid of the insurance company. Visited me once for 5 minutes. Despicable treatment.

Dr. O'Neill has always been highly attentive to my needs, listens to my concerns, and talks to me in a straightforward and professional manner. I received his care while hospitalized and immediately made him my Primary Care Physician. Fantastic doctor and a good man.

I am so happy that I finally convinced my husband to change doctors. Dr. O'Neill treated my husband as a patient and not as a number. He seemed genuine in his concern for his health and the number of medications that he is on. I feel so much relief knowing he is in good hands!

The web site states accepting new patients. After not being satisfied with another dr in the practice and wanting to switch to him, due to having other family members that see him and like him, he denied me as a new patient with no explanation of why. He may be a good doctor but I will never know. All I do know is that I was not even given a chance to find out, despite the fact that web site states, accepting new patients.

O’Neill is NOT willing to listen to symptoms and put in any time or effort to help his patient. He is kind but can only help you if you have something obvious. If any symptom is out of the ordinary you are on your own and it is very frustrating.

Dr. O'neill has been an amazing doctor and I would and have recommended him to many people. He is very thorough and will spend as much time as needed to make sure everything is explained and all questions answered. I rarely have to wait more than 10-15 minutes in the office for appointments. Would give way more than 5 stars for level of trust in his decisions.
