A blessing of a Doctor
We came to HCS/ ER around Christmas time and Dr Dollar was assigned to my husband. I have to say we were blessed to have him assigned to us. He cares, He listens, and made my husband feel cared for which is important to someone who has never been hospitalized. Dr Dollar always returned our Nurse’s call, He came by every morning and made appropriate changes when required to my husband’s treatment . He took the time to answer our questions and explained things clearly . If you are looking for a Doctor who cares about you Dr Dollar is an excellent choice. He is professional and knowledgeable. He really impressed us.

I have been a patient of DrDollar for close to 20 years and he is excellent, some of his staff on the other hand not so. One in particular Nancy is very rude when she’s on the phone with you. I’m hoping that the doctor reads this and has a talk with her. I know on my next visit I will let him know.

I’m the beginning I needed a primary care physician, and Dr. Dollar’s office fit the bill for what I needed. After several years of going there, I began to have a medical issue. I had been seeing Melody, this PA is so intelligent she needs to be a doctor! She sent me to several specialist to confirm what her initial thought was on my issue and she was right on the money. Since then I have had other small issues and she has diagnosed me 100% correctly each time. I’ve never had someone listen to what I’m saying about my body like she does. She doesn’t like to guess on her diagnosis, she’s a researcher. I could really go on and on about Melody and the staff but there’s not enough room. The entire staff has been nothing but helpful to me and I’ve been going there for many years now.I’ve only had to see Dr Dollar twice and he had sat down and took the time to listen to me so I could go over what Melody has been treating me for. My son-in-law is a crna-Dollar has a great reputation!

Melody has always been helpful and attentive to my concerns. She is a good listener and she actually reads what is in my file. She has always been kind and friendly to me. I find if I engage Dr. Dollar’s staff in conversation they are very friendly and kind to me. I feel confident when I leave the doctor’s office that I have been taken care of. I was in the hospital a couple of years ago and Dr. Dollar was my attending physician and I was well pleased with the care he gave me.

Great Internist, GP, and manages Endocrinology
I have been a patient of Dr. Dollar’s since February of 2008, following release from the hospital after a 4 month stay of which two months I was comatose. I had just turned 32 when he began taking care of my health, and was so thorough and helpful, I brought my 12 year old daughter to him as her GP until she was 19 at the time. His PA and nurses are exceptional, as well as medical technicians and front office staff.

Great doctor and staff
I met Dr. Dollar in the hospital when I was ill. I feel like this man saved my life. I switched over to him after my discharge and have been in his office every 3 months for years now. I have never had an issue with him, Melody or any staff there. In fact, I see Melody more than Dollar and she is very attentive and always takes the time to listen. I've never felt rushed or not cared for in that office. In fact, they have always gone above and beyond.

I'm so sorry to say, but Hunan and staff just does not cut it for me. It was so bad for me that I turned them in to the Board of Medicine and they actually lied to them. I was in 3rd stage renal failure and they could not see me for 3 weeks. Then when I got there, they did not give me a refferal to a nepherogist. However because I asked his NP if she would fill my Social Security paperwork. Marie (NP) informed me that they do that in that office to find someone else. I was given a called the next day from the person that did the ordering to tell me that Hunan said "If she does not like it that we don't fill out paperwork, then she should find herself another doctor." Within 4 days I received a letter from the office asking me not to return. Wow!

Please do not go here. This man is a coward and a liar. His nurse practitioners are the same way. The office staff are really sad...poor things. He lies to the board of medicine about care he did NOT give??. I’m just giving you a “head’s up” before you ruin your life!!!

Dr Dollar and his PA Melody are both very professional. They both will listen to any concern . They both have very good bedside manner. I would recommend Dr Dollar and his office staff . PA Melody will listen to everything I have to say and address any and all of my concerns . Nancy from the Medical records is very punctual in assisting with my medical records to other doctors or pharmacy.

Run away from this guy. His staff is almost criminal in their ineptitude. Find another doctor. Lack of simple decency and communication shouldn’t be something that is a accepted. This practice should be closed down.

It was my first appt. I had a firm appt at 9 am. when i got there the office personnel had just arrived. i went to check in and ask if the dr is in. they said that it would be after 11 am. they switched me to the PA who had limited authority and could not treat me. i had to pay my copay which i did not expect since this was a annual free exam. they say they do the annual exam on the second visit - so they owe me a visit. I did get some meds refilled but not all of them and there was a challenge to get what i had been taking. i went to check out and the PA had not provided my Lab Order and argued that it would come with the Annual Exam. I did get an order or the essentials after some discussion. I never got an exam report with diagnosis and treatment option - guess this comes later when i can see the doctor. This should not have been that difficult and i am not sure i want to continue with this doctor even though i never met the man. Was not professionally treated.

If I could leave zero stars I would, terrible bedside manner and uncaring manner to my daughter who was in the hospital this week. Has know clue about female issuesst all and only wants to push colonoscopies for someone not in the hospital for that issue. I recommend seeing anyone else but him.

I never even made it into the office. I called for an appointment and had no problem using the teleport to see a doctor. But the seemingly young girl, the phone was extremely rude!!! “I just told you”????? It was like pulling teeth out of her to find out how to make an appointment. she had obviously rather be fission, because she sure was not enjoying her employment Not a surprise with a three star rating. ????losing all faith in the medical community.

I found Dr. Dollar to listen to me and be flexible in our "next step" in my care plan, as we discussed several options. I have also seen his nurse practitioner, Melody, who is sharp and thorough. I will definitely keep coming to this office.

The only reason I went to this clinic is because of my parents. My first meeting with Dr. Dollar was horrible, the man didn’t care to listen or pretended he was listening and kept cutting me off and finally I became irritated and told him to stop interrupting me and felt as though me being young, I don’t know what I’m talking about or exaggerating. Fast forward, they have confused and pissed me off. Whenever I came in for an appointment I paid the $30 as told was my co-pay.

Entrust yourself or a loved one to someone else if you have a choice. Dr. Dollar was an absentee doctor. His role was delegator to other doctors. He was not openly caring. One shining star of his delegation was Shabbir Jamali ("rhymes with tamale," he mused).
