Dr. Huong Lakin, DO

Much like everyone else who’s posted a review, got completely ignored and brushed off, an unnecessary test , then referred me to a podiatrist that doesn’t even take my insurance! WHY DOES SHE STILL WORK HERE?!

I traveled 1.5 hour to see as a new patient Dr Lakin she was awesome I have multiple chronic conditions & needed new refill for my prescriptions she was extremely ther thorough did a ton of tests to check my health all around, she listened to my concerns , gave me my renew my prescriptions I was 100% impressed with her care & the staff was so kind at seamar for sure going to keep her as my medical provider... it was just a pleasant experience.

I made an appointment with my pcp, dr.lakin, in July 2021 for August 20th. On August 18th the rude receptionist called and said some other doctor won't be there that day and Dr.lakin is busy. Tried to reschedule me September!!!! PATHETIC! Immediately switched to a new PCP

Save yourself some time and possibly your life - see any doctor but this woman. She has zero bedside manner, she's rude, uncaring, you'll fe I was in the middle of telling her about my sciatica after telling her about my chest congestion, she shook her head yes, walked out, then the nurse came once to schedule my next appointment... she completely ignored my sciatica problems. It seems she refuses to deal with more than one or two ailments. I DO NOT under how this woman is still practicing.

The most uncaring and inattentive doctor I've EVER had. I'm not surprised at all the negative reviews she has. Every visit was the same: suggest the same meds she has in the past that's I told her DO NOT WORK. She will prescribe meds that can have fatal interactions, such as seratonin syndrome, which I suffered from due to her negligence. I lost 8 months of my life because of this 'doctor'. I refuse to let this happen to other people, and will make a formal complaint against 'Doctor' Lakin.

Would leave no stars if I could. She seems to not listen while looking at her computer most of the time, I ask her many, many questions and she just shakes her head or does not answer at all. She had me see two different therapists for 5 months, refused to communicate with them, and would not prescribe the medications they suggested. Huge waste of time and she only made my condition worse by prescribing two meds that interact with my Zoloft...BADLY. She made my anxiety significantly worse.

If I could leave no stars I would. After being with her for 10 minutes, she cut me off and told me "this is enough, too many things" and left. I was in the middle of trying to tell her about a rash. But I guess I just needed too much care. Incredibly rude, unprofessional. This was the little cesar's of doctor experiences.

Always takes the time necessary to me feel good about coming in.

After waiting two months for my appointment with Dr. Lakin, she tole me to stretch for my siac nerve problem. She also told me she would prescribe me an anti-inflamatory which she never sent to the pharmacy I use. Like all medical professionals with SeaMar, she also refuses prescription refills.
