March 2025 Myself and my Bride met for the first time with Dr. Chon on our recent diagnosis that Dr. Chon is highly experienced and qualified to treat for my Wife. From the time of working with our Nurse Navigator Laura to the Staff at Moffitt International Plaza to finally meeting and consulting with Dr. Hye Sook Chon was very professional and More. Dr. Chon is a very compassionate and empathetic person and explains every issue of our situation in great detail with never showing any signs of rushing our visit. Dr. Chon herself called and expedited our surgery that was needed on this visit. We Highly recommend Dr. Chon to be your Assigned Dr. when it comes to her expertise as a Ob Gyn Oncologist and surgeon qualified with doing Robotic Surgery. Thank you Dr. Chon Larry and Anita

Dr Hye Sook Chon, MD, I have no words to express my gratitude, she is one of the best doctors in this world. Since day two, I feel incredibly good, I only have discomfort from the surgery, but with my health in general I feel like I am a different person. I am happy with God, he was good as Dr Hye Sook Chon do too, today I look at my kids and tears of joy come to my eyes, because I am happy. I know that Dr Hye Sook Chon made an effort to do the best in my case, no one has to tell me, I feel that way, Dr Hye Sook Chon listened to me and she were good to me, thank you for your professionalism and your wisdom, I pray to God that the same as he blessed me, may he always do so with Dr Hye Sook Chon and her family.

Provider was able to render much needed clarifications and review of recent document she received. She also coordinated future appointments with me and my alternate provider for the future. I always speak very highly of my provider and yes, I would highly recommend her to all with whom I come into contact with.

Somehow, I always feel rushed when talking to Dr. Chon. Her style seems to be very stringent and I can only always relate and go through my history with [...], her nurse first who probably briefs Dr. Chon so she can go straight to answer the questions.

Dr. Chon is so personable and I have to think that her team is absolutely fantastic because of the preparation work that they do in order to prepare her for these virtual visits. I so appreciate her depth of knowledge and the research that she prepares for these virtual visits.

Dr Chon does not answer questions. She talks around them or just ignores them.In my opinion, her surgical skills don't match her inflated ego. She is rude and condescending. I absolutely regret calling Moffitt instead of a different cancer center. I have since left her care and Moffitt.

Dr. Chon is caring, knowledgeable and professional. She answered all of my questions and has amazing bedside manner. I felt at peace and comfortable and at ease when I left my first appointment. I was scared to death before I arrived. The fact that she could actually set my mind at ease in just one appointment says a lot about her and her staff. Her staff was just as kind and caring and a complete shout out to the RN who did my biopsy. I absolutely felt nothing. Each step of the way my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Dr. Chon will be doing my hysterectomy and I just already know I’m in great hands.

Horrible experience start to finish. I just moved here from Chicago and transferred my care to Moffitt, which is supposed to be one of the best in the country. Start to finish my patient experience was terrible. I waited almost 2hrs to be seen. Horrible bedside manner. Very broken English and not sure she really understood what I was saying. She did not read my chart, at all. I’m 38 with a new cancer diagnosis, I’m freaked out. She rushed, she spoke over me and completely dismissed my concerns. I’m honestly terrified that she’s a practicing physician, especially an oncologist. Do not just this woman with your health.

Dr Chon is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

Dr Chon performed my hysterectomy due to uterine cancer. I couldn't be more pleased with the whole process at Moffitt. Dr Chon was warm and compassionate and explained everything clearly. The procedure went unbelievably smoothly. I had NO PAIN at all and recovered quickly and completely. I have an excellent prognosis and would highly recommend Dr Chon.

Very thorough, very experienced, excellent surgeon who save me from a BIG scar. Matter of fact- great for me. I am forever grateful.

Awful 2nd opinion choice for uterine cancer that she totally was inconsiderate and rude to us and was totally against other alternative treatment methods other than “SCIENCE!” In which she stated unless you want to sitting together 5 years from now you’d better follow the Chemotherapy and current regimen your other Oncologist has you on. My wife passed away 2 months later due to her recommendation. It was disgusting and inhuman to hear her lack of knowledge and treatment as an “expert” in her field of oncology.

I'm still knew but they say first impressions mean alot.. my first impression this lady had me screaming on a table.. I will agree as well with others that she really doesnt have good bedside manner she is very rushy in a hight anxiety atmosphere.. she is scary.. I'm at a point if I dont know if I have other choices.. was hoping second visit would be better but as I was waiting in room she walked and screamed at me in a very loud voice HOW MUCH DO YOU DRINK I was like woaa do I need to start.. .. so at this time with 2 visits I wouldn't give 1 star

I was assigned her at Moffitt. She screamed at me and my husband because I had gotten a CT scan by a doctor outside of Moffitt. I do have other doctors and health problems besides cancer. She also said that she didn't know anything about a deadly genetic disorder that caused my cancer. Her English is very poor. Moffitt wouldn't let me change doctors. I am now with another GYN oncology group and very happy. Having cancer is bad enough. Having a rude, unprofessional doctor makes this worse.

Doesn't have the warmest bedside manner.

After having numerous issues with other obgyn's either reviewing or passing on helping we found Dr Chon. She was what we needed, and she was very personable and acted quickly to resolve the problem. I highly recommend Dr Chon.
