Very disappointed with Dr. Sproat's decision makin
He may be a very good radiologist but I feel he overstepped his bounds by telling my 90 yo aunt (I am her personal respresentative) that the cancer had spread all over and there was no reason to go forward with the ultra-sound with a liver biopsy if she wasn't going to take chemo. So he did not do the liver biopsy which her oncologist ordered to see if it was a cancer that had metastized from her breast cancer 2 years ago or a new cancer or not even cancer at all but something else. I asked the nurses if he could please call me and explain to ME what he was basing that decision on....he messaged the nurse back saying 'he had nothing to discuss with me because after his conversation with my 90 yo aunt that she had agreed with him not to go ahead with the procedure. I believe if nothing else he should have gotten in touch with the oncologist who ordered the test and knows her history to see if he still wanted to go forward with the test. I reluctantly give Dr. Sproat 1 star.
