Unprofessional
I waited for over an hour for Dr. Storper despite scheduling my appointment around my work commitments. When I inquired with the medical assistant about the wait time, as I needed to return to work, I overheard the doctor remark, in a very dismissive tone, that anyone who did not want to wait should leave the office. Based on this response, I decided to cancel my appointment, as it confirmed the concerns other reviewers had expressed regarding his bedside manner. Additionally, I found the office and equipment to be outdated.

I have seen him twice. Initially he was professional. As problems became more numerous, he became insensitive and impatient. Trying to reach him was a nightmare..

Excellent doctor
As a neurotologist, Dr Storper is very knowledgeable about hearing and balance issues, and I trust his judgement about my ear condition. He's very caring and takes his time to discuss my concerns. He performed surgery on my ear that was very successful and improved my life. I highly recommend him.

Excellent bedside manner and very thorough
I saw Dr. Storper several times regarding some sinus problems. It was easy to get an appointment and the doctor and his staff were very pleasant and I feel they listened well and made an effort to understand my issues and find an appropriate treatment. Dr. Storper took his time to explain my test results to me and was very pleasant. I would recommend him highly.

Always rushed terrible bedside manner + egocentric
Dr. Storper may be a specialist in his field, but that does not make him a great doctor - far from it. I felt distinctly that I (the patient) was not his priority. Appointments were always rushed and getting information out of him was like pulling teeth. Be aware that he will not adjust his schedule (or delegate to another ENT in his team) to see you if you have a pressing issue (I speak from experience). He has a very poor bedside manner. Save yourself the frustration and choose another doctor. I did and could not be happier now (but I learned the hard way).

10/2017 Dr Storper implanted my mid ear 11/98 at NY Pres. Hosp.(NYPH) with great results. In 8/17, Diagnosed with Lung & Lymph node renal cancer, (most deadly). Mem. Sloan Kettering wants brain & body MRI to ascertain metastasis; but protocols require proof that my ear implant contained no metal. On 9/22, I requested an implant card & operative record from my 1998 NYPH surgery to no avail until 10/5 when upon request Dr Storper interceded. MRI approved!

Dr Storper performed sinus surgery on me 5 years ago, returned to him for follow-ups, but I'm no longer going to see him. He may be a good doctor and a nice man, but my time is as valuable as his. Scheduled an appointment and after 45 min in his waiting room I decided to leave. Rescheduled for another day with his promise to see me as soon as I get there and the same story happened. Waited for over 45 minutes and left.

I've been having migraines for weeks. I thought it was stress and being burnt out from work, but I decided to see an ENT. I wasn't sure if my symptoms were real because aside from not feeling well and poor sleep, I had no other problems. Dr. Stopper was really patient, listened to all my complaints which started months ago (not even sure if my issues were related to ENT), and upon examination he saw I had an infection. He kindly referred a neurologist, and told me to come back after antibiotics.
