I have been a patient of Dr. Kaplan's for many years and recommended her to family and friends. She takes the time to thoughtfully listen and answer any questions. She is warm, caring and a truly kind human being. Dr. Kaplan is thorough and pays attention to small details and is meticulous in her care. Dr. Kaplan is a first rate ophthalmologist. I have been going to other ophthalmologists for many years and after consulting with Dr. Kaplan my problem was finally taken care of. Dr. Kaplan is brilliant! Her office is extremely well run and comfortable.

My visit at Dr. Kaplan's office was a first rate experience from start to finish. The staff is very courteous, meticulous, and friendly. Dr. Kaplan saw me punctually. Confidently explained my diagnosis and treatment to me, answered all of my questions, and even called me the next day to check on me. She is a terrific ophthalmologist. I have been a patient of Dr. Kaplan for about 25 years. I have found her to be extremely intelligent, personable, consistently available for emergency appointments, and thorough. She is a good listener and diagnostician, and has good medical judgment re: appropriate tests, referrals to other specialists as needed, and choices of treatments.

Dr Kaplan is the most loving, kind, caring doctor I’ve ever dealt with. My mother suffers from multiple conditions that effect her vision. Dr. Kaplan took the time to coordinate her extremely complex condition with 4 other doctors on multiple occasions. Her skill, competence and professionalism are beyond measure. I have been seeing Dr. Kaplan for an acute dry eye problem. It was affecting my day to day life to the point I couldn’t drive my kids even to the park. O am so happy I found Dr. Kaplan because she diagnosed my dry eyes correctly and prescribed me medication that has made a huge difference. Thank you to her and I recommend her to everyone. The staff is excellent and very polite and helpful. I needed to get my prescription approved by my insurance company and the doctor and her staff were A+.

Dr. Kaplan is an amazing glaucoma specialist. All my life I've been told I've had dangerously high pressures in both my eyes and that I was doomed to develop glaucoma and at only 35 you can imagine how very scary that can be to hear. Dr. Kaplan examined me and put me at ease and took her time to explain everything so I could understand it. She really is the best and I recommend her to everyone. She is on top of routinely testing her patients which is great! The staff is beyond amazing as well.

Recently, a test that Dr. Kaplan routinely runs to check my eyes revealed a change in a condition that she had discussed with me previously. Based on a potential for a sudden medical emergency with a risk of permanent vision loss, we scheduled an Iridotomy for the following week. The procedure was quick, painless and completely effective. It confirmed my continued confidence in Dr. Kaplan's expertise and experience. She also has a wonderful office staff and a patient-friendly environment.

Dr. Kaplan is a Glaucoma specialist and has been caring for my eyes, keeping the pressure well-controlled for the past ten years. I have felt completely comfortable asking questions and discussing my eye care, never feeling rushed. Her office staff is friendly and competent in what they do and care about each and every patient not just as patients but as people. Dr. Kaplan runs an exceptional practice. She has expertly managed my eye health and she has an office staff that is second to none.

as a physician, I did truss Dr Kaplan advise, however, the trust somewhat diminishes when she keeps charging everyone out of pocket expenses for 'new tests that aren't covered, I watched how everyone got charged 100s of dollars out of pocket. I switched opthamologists bc of location and the new dr I saw couldn't believe this. He is Colombia University trained, does research, helped invent certain surgical techniques and said there are absolutely no new tests that aren't insurance covered.
