My elderly uncle just found out his liver cancer is back and when we voiced concerns about him going through another surgery (he had both liver and lung cancer within the last 5 years) her response was "he only had two spots burned off and a small wedge of his liver removed last time". Apparently her experience has left her insensitive and cold. She was also 50 minutes late to the appointment, which is pretty consistent with all appointments with her. If you are looking for someone that is empathetic and kind, I do not recommend Dr. Ila Tamaskar

dr. tamaskar’s bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. she was my designated dr. after my previous oncologist left the practice and i had a hard time adjusting. she was not friendly and did not take time to understand my issues.
