New patient visit to Dr. Ilena Acevedo
Dr. Ilena Acevedo made me feel welcomed as a new patient and listened to my concerns and questions and helped establish referrals to new physicians local to our new house. She reviewed my medications and updated needed prescriptions. Some of the referrals for specialist care she provided were not taking new patients but they offered other practionners as alternatives. The office was clean and inviting and the staff helped with any questions I had about insurance and appointments.

This doctor and staff don't deserve 1 star. I was sitting in the waiting room before my appointment when the receptionist told me she had already put me down as a "no show". When I complained she asked the doctor if she would see me, the doctor told her that she was too busy , even though it was when my appointment was supposed to be. I'm glad I found out how uncaring Acevedo is and how useless the staff is at Baycare before I needed serious health care. Avoid Baycare and their doctors for the sake of your health

Excellent the best dr I have had a privilege to get to see her compassionate demeanor and the time she spends with her patients are qualities you do not find in most drs today unfortunately she no longer works in Brando tracked her down n was going to make appt however she dies not take my insurance really disappointed for I would gladly drive the distance if she did

Hospital Follow Up. Did not even examine me, was in a rush and didn’t seem to care about what I needed from a specialist center and refused that. I’m going to be finding a new pcp. Also, at the end of the visit, Medical assistant was so rude and had a whole different demeanor than when she first saw me and took my vitals. That office needs new Dr’s that will write a script that is needed for a serious issue and also new medical assistants. They are the worst and ended up calling lawyer about it.

The best doctor I had so far. She has everything I’m looking for in a doctor. Knowledgeable. Friendly. And I can sense that she cares about me. Highly recommended!

I came to Dr. Acevedo with varying issues and she has been a fantastic resource. She always takes time to listen to my concerns and explains everything to me thoroughly. Her office staff is friendly and works hard to get me scheduled as soon as possible, even on weekends!

Dr. Acevido couldn't even figure out that I had pneumonia. A friend suggested for me to tell her to do an xray, which was done, and then her office never called me. I had to call a week later to inquire as to the results of the xray and it was only then that they told me to go to the hospital right away. Apparently they never would have called.
