Unreliable and Condescending
I have been with this doctor intermittently for a few years. I see him as little as I can possibly manage. He speaks down to me, trying to talk me out of having children because it interrupts my care, and then commenting on how I had better use a more reliable birth control than 'just the phases of the moon' (completely out of left field). Today when I went to see him, it was because he had failed to correctly submit my prescription through my pharmacy, and I had to make extra time to follow through on what he missed. He remarked on my lackluster vocabulary when he asked how I was and I said only 'ok' and not, in his words, 'fabulous or amazing'. In the end, it was his nurse who sorted out the paperwork for my prescription and even caught that he had prescribed the WRONG DOSAGE. I am actively seeking to transfer my care and would not recommend him to anyone.

Worst doctor ever…….Dr. Oikonomopoulos at SSM
I had an appointment with Dr. Oikonomopoulous, and I must say I left the office feeling more frustrated than relieved. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. I had read his reviews and they weren’t great but he was easy to get into (RED FLAG)When Dr. Oikonomopoulous spoke to me, I was taken aback by his lack of empathy. Instead of listening to my concerns, he seemed rushed and uninterested, barely making eye contact as I tried to explain my symptoms. I felt like I was just another number on their schedule rather than a patient in need of care. What bothered me the most was the dismissive attitude towards my questions. When I asked for clarification on a diagnosis, he responded curtly, making me feel foolish for even asking. The lack of thoroughness in the examination left me feeling uncertain about my health. He spent much time talking about himself and he is very arrogant. After being a patient at SSM Janesville for 5 years, I will not be returning.

Excellent doctor
In 2015 I was in the ER with a virtually unknown autoimmune disease. Dr O, as we called him, was on call, & long story short, I wouldn’t be here if he & the pulmonologist on call weren’t aggressive in my diagnosis & treatment. He was my doctor until he left Billings & I had the utmost confidence in him. He was very attentive & informative. He called personally to check on my after I left the hospital for several months. I’m in remission now, but I’d still see him if he were closer!

Money Grubber
Bad Man. We chose him to help our daughter and then found after a visit that he was not in our network. I called to ask if he could work with us on helping to discount his $500.00 per hour bill but refused. He only cares about the money not the patient. He's fired.

Dr. O is by far my favorite Doctor. He listens to my concerns and he is compassionate. Best of all he is knowledgeable. This has resulted in the diagnosis and resolution of several of my health concerns.

I saw Oikonomopoulos after my rheumatologist retired and moved out of state. He told me my RA was in my head and if I did yoga, saw a counselor and moved to a lower altitude, I would be cured. He took me off all of the medication I was taking for my RA and fibro. After going 100% backwards for over a year, I found a new Dr in Bozeman. ALL of my bloodwork and xrays PROVED I have RA and fibro but this quack thought he knew more than tests could prove. I would not recommend him to ANYONE!!

I felt that he spent most of the time trying to me that I have Fibromyalagia, but by looking at the lab tests from nearly 2 years ago, I have no sign of RA or arthritis. The doctor that diagnosed both showed my husband and I the x-ray of my hands and where the RA is. It seemed to me the whole visit was to discredit the other doctor. I would have thought he would order new blood tests and x-rays, or MRI or something. Now I have to go to get a 3rd opinion. Wasted my time and money.

I am very pleased. After three months of treatment I have no inflammation. Dr.Oikonomopoulos is very straight forward, very knowledgeable, and has answered all the questions I have had. I am thankful to have found a doctor that actually cares and takes me seriously.

I had a very difficult time understanding this doctor as English is not his first language. I have some unusual symptoms that don't fit neatly into his computer program and his final remark to me was I guess you have just lived longer than your body was intended to I am 52!!! He spent most of the visit talking directly to his computer. I would not recommend him unless you have classic RA with the blood work to prove it. I am so upset that I spent money and time traveling for this visit
