Thank god she is gone!
Disrespectful, demeaning and rude. After suffering cancer treatment AND survival, the last thing I wanted was an horrifically running commentary on how my remaining breast looked. Didn’t need it…..already clear. But this gal felt the need to share anyway. Good riddance and good retirement.

Rude and Arrogant Doctor Avoid at all cost

Thank you…
Dr Itzkovitz is a kind, lovely, knowledgeable physician who treats me with respect and gives me her full attention. She diagnosed my ailments— strep throat and sinusitis— and treated them. She communicated with me after hours, which was a pleasant surprise; and showed her dedication. Besides her medical accolades, I appreciated her empathy. I can recommend Dr Itzkovitz without reservation.

I had a respiratory tract bacterial infection and was prescribed antibiotics. As happens, I developed a post-infection cough, bringing up phlegm, and it was bad. I saw Dr Itzkovitz, who prescribed a fast cure (inhaler, nasal corticosteroid and antihistamine); and literally in 1 day, cough was gone—after 2 weeks nonstop. Thank you, Dr Itzkovitz

Avoid this lady
I went to this so call lady and when she first came in she blamed all of my problems to my weight with out looking at my charts or anything. I have a real medical problem and she dismissed my problems and told me I'm only having this problem due to my weight, she then "diagnosed" me with sleep apnea when I never had it then she tried to tell me I'm diabetic when my blood work came out fine and she gave me medication I don't need and the ones I needed she didn't prescribed them. Avoid this lady at all cost she is rude and dismissive and if you are someone in the heavy side prepare for her to blame every thing on your weight even if you are bleeding out in front of her.

I will never go back to this doctor ever again! She's very dismissive and rude. I went to her concerned about a possible thyroid issue and she blamed all of my symptoms on stress, then proceeded to tell me that I might have a sleep disorder, which I do not have. Funny thing is, she prescribed me anxiety meds and a sleep study but she never sent in anything. When your health is up in the air, the last thing you want is a doctor who isn't compassionate about your concerns. That visit only made me feel worse and completely dismissed.

I began seeing Dr. Itzkovitz 1.5 years ago after my first PCP left the practice and I needed a new doctor. She is really sweet and I'm sure she is a knowledgeable physician, but her tendency to interrupt and speak over me has left me feeling unheard and ultimately unsafe, as I feel she is quick to dismiss symptoms I describe (or begin to describe, since she cuts me off to diagnose me before I am even done speaking). I can also confirm a few things from the other negative reviews; she does prescribe medication I didn't even ask for. She reviewed all the medication my other specialists prescribe for me and offered to prescribe the medications herself. It's odd because I need to see the specialists for reasons other than medication management. Like I said, she seems like a kind person, but I need a doctor who will slow down, look at me, and listen before responding.

Dr. Itkovitz is simply the best. She's been my PCP for 3 years now, and she's always been a reliable, dedicated provider. She's extremely knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and kind. Her guidance during my annual physical keeps me in my best shape. She listens to all my health concerns, looks into my family history with care, and makes the best recommendations. I will continue to have her as my PCP and will be recommending her to my family and friends.

Dr. Itzkovitz has incredibly terrible bedside manner. She doesn't listen at all and speaks over you the entire time. She claims to know what is wrong with you without even hearing what you have to say. She is very eager to prescribe medications that might not be necessary and bulldozes right through the entire appointment. At the end of the appointments I never feel like I had the opportunity to speak or tell her my symptoms or how I feel. Beware of this doctor who seems eager to simply make money and does not actually care about her patients.

I have bad right shoulder arthritis and diabetes. Dr Itzkovitz listens to my medical complaints and symptoms; and has helped improve the quality of my life, from preventive medicine to expert treatment of my chronic medical problems. She has called with test results even at night on her own time. She is a lovely, warm doctor who is devoted to her patients.

I found Dr. Itzkowitz very aggressively talkative and a bad listender. I believe that the balance of talk in a doctor visit is normally 1/3 to 1/2 patient talk at the beginning, and 1/2 to 2/3 doctor talk in the latter portion of the visit. In this way, the patient can explain fully while the doctor listens and perhaps asks questions. In the second part of the visit, the roles are somewhat reversed. Dr I, however, talks non-stop and doesn't listen.

Dr Itzkovitz is both a warm and kind doctor; she is also extremely knowledgeable. I was referred to her by an acquaintance who is an RN. In turn, I've referred several people to her. I'm picky and I think she's great!
