She comes in smelling like alcohol, clearly intoxicated and too groggy and unfocused to get anything done. She owes it to herself to be better.

The sad thing is that she’s completely competent. She doesn’t neglect her patients because she doesn’t know any better. She’s very intelligent and her education hasn’t failed her. She’s not indifferent either. Although it appears that way, from the patient’s perspective. Dr. Bauer neglects her patients because she has more work than she can keep up with and she’s trying to hold onto both. But her work and her patients suffer for it. She fails to note important things, writes referrals improperly and manages care like a shell game or plate spinning act. But she doesn’t bother to pick up the pieces of the plates that fall and break while she’s across the stage.

Absolutely! My wife & I are so happy to have Dr. Bauer on staff. My wife is an Alzheimer's patient, 4 plus years into her diagnosis. Dr. Bauer is not a neurologist , but works so hard to care for my wife physically & help her to deal with the affects of her ailment. For me personally, I so appreciate her kind, direct manner of questions & using the diagnostic tools available to her to settle my mind regarding the "so many issues of growing older". She is direct, but kind & seems to be regularly checking new information available to her to apply to my situation. This is so refreshing from the old approach of "Well this is what we have done for so many years for people in you age group". We both have great confidence in Dr. Ingrid & are fast coming to view her not just as a medical professional, but as a very experienced friend in the medical field. At this point in our lives, both with the age issues & health issues of my wife, Carol, may we say that Dr. Ingrid Bauer is truly a gift.
