Excellent response to our emergency Staff & doctor very responsive

Really pitiful and not at all patient-centered. I had two appointments canceled because they were treating “active cancer” patients. After a week of prep for a biopsy, they cancelled the day of the appointment because “I didn’t have a driver.” This was to be at least my fourth biopsy and I have NEVER had a driver, nor was I told verbally that I needed one - and in the two pages of prep for the biopsy, there is no mention of needing a driver. Perhaps Dr. Rivera is a superb surgeon, but he is not a good doctor. His PA, Diana Aragon, is also an excellent clinician, but she’s the one who canceled two appointments.

An excellent clinician. But always late. Can never get his staff on the phone - 99% of calls go to Voicemail.

Constantly seeing Dr Rivera for nearly 5 years - following bladder cancer surgery - Doctor Rivera (and his staff) have been "life-savers" to me - always professional and kind - I trust them with my life.

Waited for 2 hours never call me when I went to the from desk to ask what my status was they said that the computer log me out. all this after I sing in and paid then $ 50 copaid. never going back.

Dr. Rivera saw my husband, who was in a bad place ( aggressive cancer of the bladder). None of the other physicians would perform the necessary surgery. He saw us on very short notice: when he entered the room, he had already viewed the file & the online notes. He explained what needed to be done clearly. Our family physician of 11 years, reading the surgical report later, told us no one else could have done the intricate surgery. Recovery was perfect. I would go to him again.

Both Dr. Rivera and his ARNP Gina have been excellent in providing care. The office, however, is another story. We expect to spend at least 2 hrs. there for every appointment. Scheduling is a nightmare. For an appointment made in July for this week, we were notified the day before we had to reschedule due to computer issues. After rescheduling and receiving a generic confirmation message, received a call morning of appointment that Dr was out of town and could we reschedule. Unacceptable!!

If agree with the other post about the co-ordinator. That IS an issue that needs fixing. Dr. Rivere is kind, compassionate and caring. He recently performed a partial nephrectomy to remove my cancerous renal mass and I couldn't be more pleased. He explained what to expect and spent a lot of time answering my questions. The follow up was exceptional. I saw his PA - Gina for a couple of follow ups and she is AWESOME. Fyi, it was MY decision to see Gina since I was doing so well.

His cordinator never answer the phone and it says in the recording that will return calls same day, if call before 3:00 pm, but you need to call several days to get a call back and make the appointment. It is very sad cause he is a good doctor, but his coordinator is not doing a good job. When one call the doctor is because an urgency and just with the appt waiting time is enough. Hope Dr Rivera address and resolve this situation for a better care of his patients.
