Dr. Ira Chernoff, MD

Dr. Ira Chernoff is an excellent surgeon. I had back issues that needed a specialist. Dr Chernoff explained my condition, treatment, surgery and extremely knowledgeable. His staff is professional while caring.

I have had back issues and have been seen under Dr. Ira’s care since i was 12, so now 11 years. I have never had a doctor made me feel more like family than Dr. Ira and Marc. I was first diagnosed with spinal disorders at 12 ( with a strong genetic link, he has operated on my mom and dad as well years prior) that were inoperable but they continued to be involved in my care throughout the years as we took non-surgical routes. We knew there would come a point where surgery became inevitable. When that time came, first when I was 21 it was handled quickly and efficiently by office staff and the surgeons. Now 3 years later, and 3 surgeries in these are the only doctors I would trust with my spine.

Over the past few years I have seen Dr. Ira for different things. He has always been thorough, honest and spot on with his diagnosis. Even my daughter has seen him on several occasions and he was able to diagnosis things in her that multiple doctors were not able to pin point. One thing being - Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. More recently with myself - I had surgery with him on October 10, 2022. I was experiencing neck pain for some time but then noticed numbness and weakness in my arm and hand and got concerned. So I saw Dr. Ira and he knew instantly what was wrong. Did all the proper testing and informed me that surgery was the only answer. I was extremely nervous about this procedure but had complete faith in Dr. Ira and his reassurance made me feel better. The surgery went well and just a few hours after the procedure I had regained most of my strength back.

My husband was a workers comp patient. WC and our private insurance was billed. I’m a RN & noticed the billing issue and some other irregularities so I went into the office to discuss with Ira. He hid behind the front desk. I saw him & couldn’t believe it. I would not be operated on by him. I had a discectomy/ hemi laminectomy by a skilled neurosurgeon.

Experience was excellent. First saw him 35 years ago. Recommended against surgery at the time. I did heal with therapy and rest. Flash forward thirty years and I needed to see him again. This time was different. I needed surgery. Here it is over 4 years later and I FEEL FINE!

I highly recommend Dr. Ira Chernoff, and Dr. Marc Chernoff. They performed back surgery in 2013, and I couldn't be more pleased with every aspect of their care. They are professional, highly skilled doctors and you truly are in good, caring hands when utilizing their services.

Dr. Ira Chernoff, dr. Mark and the entire staff at this practice are the most wonderful people. I recently had a second procedure on my lumbar spine the first one was eight years ago. everything came out great. This time it was spinal fusion I have been in pain for a long time. I was in pain with a badly herniated disk and Dr.Chernoff knew exactly what needed to be done to correct the problem! His bedside manner was and is excellent! His wonderful staff are educated and helpful when you call the office. I highly recommend Dr.Chernoff!

I was crawling on the floor in tremendous pain. They had me up and walking pain free within hours of surgery. 2018 injured at work... not even a question of who I was going back to... I'm now on the road to recovery and feeling good. The Staff is also excellent, very caring and handles all concerns.

Ira and mark are a great team they are professional and knowledgeable I felt very comfortable with them and the staff was also extremely helpful and kind????

SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE. the office messed up, told me they take my insurance..........when i got there they said that'll be $300. I said EXCUSE ME??? My copay should be like $40 or $50 for a specialist. Then they told me its OUT OF NETWORK. IF YOU'RE OUT OF NETWORK THEN YOU DONT TAKE MY INSURANCE. When patients ask "Do you take my insurance?" they shouldn't have said yes if it's out of network. That's common sense. Anyway! And i had to crutch on black ice!! Risked my life for these idiots!

I have been a patient for many years and Dr Ira and Dr Marc are amazing doctors. There isn't anyone else I would trust for my back surgeries. They are compassionate and very thorough and never make me feel rushed. Whenever I call for an appointment they get me in right away. Morgan, Anne and the office staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to help you. I would highly recommend this practice and I have to many friends. Thanks to entire team for everything you have done for me.

I had a herniated disc with fragmentation. Unfortunately, my surgery had to go directly through my tattoo. Amazingly, the doctor was able to put it back together nicely. Also, my back is better. Highly recommended!!

Marc and Ira Chernoff are brothers that are so caring. The surgery that they performed on me went as explained and I am up and on the road to recovery. I would recommend them to everyone that needs spinal surgery.
