I had him do two neck surgeries on me in 2007 for chiari malformation. He explains everything very well.

Dr Goldstein Saved My Life!
I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Goldstein as a truly exceptional neurosurgeon. I came to Dr. Goldstein with a severe disc injury. Radiologists had also identified a suspected neuro- sheath tumor, growing on my spinal cord. When I first saw Dr. Goldstein, I was in a wheelchair, experiencing constant 11 out of 10 pain that made even simple daily tasks impossible. As an avid outdoorsman, this was devastating.Dr. Goldstein sat with me, thoroughly reviewed my MRI images, and patiently answered all my questions about the needed surgery. He completely alleviated my anxieties and instilled me with confidence. He treated me with kindness and empathy. On the day of the surgery, he spoke to me both before and after, which further eased my anxieties. Since the surgery, I've had any and all questions or concerns answered by Dr. Goldstein, through his wonderful office staff, the very same day.It is now two months post-op, and I feel fantastic! My life and body are pain free!

I have had four surgeries by Dr. Goldstein & will have the fifth next month. I do not let anyone else touch my Spine but him. I would even travel to another State if that was the case, to be seen by him. He is EXCELLENT as a doctor & as a person. I highly recommend Dr. Ira Goldstein!

The wait at the office is over 2hrs. He say 1 thing but after the procedure it's like he don't want any dealings with you. I had my spine work on. I was supposed to walk the next day not only it took 3 mos to walk I have to have another procedure and I have tremors and pain for the rest of my like. Because he service the urban areas it's like he don't care he talk to you like dirt. And it's not right. Tell he says to ppl if you lose weight you wouldn't have this problem.

Got stuck with a Resident because Dr Goldstein was too busy after it took 3 months to get an appointment. Then was told to go see previous surgeon that doesn't take my insurance... this was a complete waste of my time bordering on Medicaid Fraud.
