The worst of what psychiatry has to offer
I have seen numerous psychiatrists since I was 17… when I was 26 I saw this “doctor”, he not only judged me and was egregiously smitten to diagnose me with bipolar disorder on my first visit and prescribe me two brand new drugs on the market, for those conditions, which I have never been diagnosed, he was malicious, rude, and aggressive to me in one of the darkest times of my life. I have seen a number of psychiatrists since (I am now 31), and everyone adamantly determines I do not have bipolar disorder. It is fine if I did, but the medication he prescribed really hurt me in multiple ways. Of course he did not care, when I called and told him I was having mania (which I have never had) and restless leg syndrome, keeping me from sleeping, he aggressively responded “well then quit taking it??”.. it has been over five years and I am finally able to speak about this and feel a need to warn other patients.

My husband and I would certainly give Dr. Rosenshein a five star rating. He was kind and insighful as he guided us through difficult years with a family member who was seriously ill. We shall always be grateful to him. He was a marvelous teacher. And, we really liked his dog who loved pizza!

Dr. Rosenshein has been helping me for years now. He really cares about his patients. He really lists to what his patients have to say. We met when I was admitted to a mental health facility and after only meeting me twice I told him that I was having difficulties with one of the nurses and he trusted me enough to believe me and take care of the problem. I told him I was concerned about being on narcotics and he worked with me to make sure my anxiety medication was only a short term solution.

Horrible experience. Lacks empathy towards patients. Worst experience ever with a psychiatrist.

I have had the privilege of being helped by Dr. Rosenshein for over ten years. We met at one of the most difficult times of my life, struggling to complete even dad to day activities. He has seen my grow into a successful young man and continues to assist me in reaching my goals.

Dr. Rosenshein has always been very friendly and professional toward me- As a patient with severe anxiety, he's extremely proficient at recognizing and penetrating personality barriers. In my experience he's been open to thinking outside of the box with treatment and also very trusting of my own experiences with the treatment. The only negative thing I have to say is he can go overboard with a can-do attitude but it clearly comes from a good place.
