Dr. Irene Boswell, MD

Dr's Husband has beed rude and not getting medical records we need for over 90 days since August of this year. It's for my Insurance and your group is holding up my family and the direction we neeed to go. Coastal records has your practice as the worse to get medical records from anywhere.

Dr. Boswell is the ONLY Dr. I have EVER been able to trust. She saved my life by pointing out a misdiagnosed medical issue that I had seen another Dr for. If I'd gotten there another month or 2 later I would have been dead! I have type 2 diab. Now because of the other Dr. And Dr Boswell is the only one able to keep my a1c down. I had to leave her becuz if insurance with husbands work place, now he has new work place and I'm praying she can take me back! I won't recommend any one but her even if I'm not able to see her myself

I worked many years in the medical field and have found Dr. Boswell to be one of the best physicians that I have ever met. She is an excellent diagnostician, listens to her patients, is understanding, personable and compassionate. Her staff are friendly and helpful. You will be contacted quickly, if there is a concern over any test results - many times, by Dr. Boswell herself. I felt sick for many years, but other practitioners didn't seem concerned. Dr. Boswell, diagnosed two serious medical conditions, one of which, had caused organ damage. I highly recommend Dr. Boswell.

Diane Macgregor I was a patient of Dr Boswell for a very long time. One day she sent me a certified letter telling me I was no longer a patient of hers. The reason she gave was I was not happy with her staff. Not true I had no problem with her or staff. I think she is a very unprofessional doctor.

I would recommend her to anyone, excellent doctor, will be my doctor as long as I live or as long as she is practicing. Called me in after labs, and I knew something was wrong, not the case, she wanted to go over everything so I understood. I am very impressed. Very personable, and very thorough, great bedside manner, and shows concern for the patient. I was stressed because no other doctor before called me in about labs, only given over the phone.

I feel very fortunate to have discovered this gem of a doctor and person right here in Rockford. Dr. Boswell has taken the time to work through my very difficult medical problems and helped me over the past two years. I have made remarkable progress in terms of my health. I am now able to think about living a healthy future and not just living day-to-day. She has a very helpful staff, wait times are only about 15 minutess, and a beautiful office. Five stars for Dr. Boswell.

Waiting times at her office are always an hour to get in to see her, then it's another 30 mins until she comes in the room. Too much office turnover, lack of respect for patients time. Would not recommend her for patients who are not retired.

Have been a patient of Dr. Boswell for 10 years and have found her to be a great doctor in all areas. She is a good diagnostician who is thorough, direct, informative and most of all caring and dedicated to her patients. She has an excellent support staff who are equally qualified, friendly & courteous. She has the unique ability to keep in contact with patients when patient is experiencing at-home illness/concerns. Gives patient comfort & opportunity to communicate status of concern.

She is almost always running late, but she spends time with you until you have your answer and willing to work with you on finding the best solution for you.

I have been a patient with Dr. Boswell for the last 12 years, and can attest she is an exceptional diagnostician and clinician. I'm blessed Dr. Boswell is my primary physician. Anonymous derogatory comments made about Dr. Boswell or her beautiful office and personnel allow malcontents to defame a person or organization hiding behind anonymity. Went there this past week and can't say better things about dr. Boswell. She is very detail oriented, answered all my questions, and her assistant in the room was so polite and informative. Would recommend to everyone, but the only con was the front desk receptionist was kind of snotty and didn't inform me how long the wait would be.
