Dr. Irene Druzina, MD

New patient first time in-office visit which was scheduled a year in advance. Fair warning - it is not easy to get an immediate appointment with Dr. Druzina. However, Dr. Druzina is the epitome of all of her good reviews here and elsewhere - she is very efficient, extremely knowledgeable, proactive for the patient's welfare and extremely kind and compassionate. However, the medical assistant who took me into the exam room was another species entirely - either having a very bad day or should look for another line of work. This MA, supposedly trying to be efficient to the point of bossiness and nasty attitude supreme. I had previously worked in medical practice management and would have fired such an employee. The MA was first and foremost in a terrible hurry, trying to rush getting my vitals, abrasive and obnoxious, arguing with me over placement of a BP cuff! When I mentioned this 'attitude' - the MA stormed out of the room and slammed the door. They should show this MA the door.

Dr Druzina is a wonderful doctor. She is sympathetic, compassionate, and caring. I would easily recommend her to anyone looking for a physician.

Dr. Druzyna is an awesome doctor! She listens very well. She's very kind, compassionate, and empathetic! Those are some good characteristics for a good doctor!!

Over the years I have found Dr Irene Druzina to be the finest physicians I have ever encountered. She listens and her intuition is as acute as her hearing. She explains your progress in terms easily understood. I was very sick for a long time when I went to see her and I was diagnosed in a few minutes and cared for immediately. There are not enough words in our dictionary to commend her on treatment and out come.
