Terrible doctor
This doctor lied to a patient, and told him Southeast Hermann Memorial does not have a pet scan. The patient was told he has cancer in his liver, and a pet scan is needed. The patient's family found out there is a pet scan at the hospital Dr, Jawed then said medicare, and the patient's medicare supplement would not pay for the pet scan while the patient is in the hospital. Another lie. The patient's spouse contacted the insurance company, and was informed they would indeed approve a pet scan. The insurance co said its the hospitals job to get the approval, not the family. The approval was provided, and the doctor, and caseworker claim they had no idea a pet scan can be done. How can the hospital claim they care for patients who have cancer. How many other patients have they done this to? Shame on this doctor, and all those covering this up.

Sorry about that but personally I know Irfan Jawed MD, if he treat with patients same like how he treat with employees then patient will move to next world in short time. Low temper, abusing and frustrated MD, I never seen such MD in throughout life. I believe he don't care patient as human but may be as money machine.

He did not properly fill out the pain prescription when my Mom was released from the hospital so it took us an entire day to get her prescription. Then we had to make an appointment to get refills which is normal. Then he said her lab work was abnormal and wanted another appointment and lab work which he said was normal. I am a lab tech and the abnormal result he was soo concerned about was only 0.2 mg high. When we went for the third appointment to get a refill on the medication, he didn’t give us a prescription. I’m through with this nonsense. He just wants the money he gets for seeing her and then does nothing. Sincerely, Tracey Green MLT(ASCP)

Even though the facility seems to be convenient and a reasonable place for treatment; the staff is less than friendly and less than knowledgeable about a lot of medical situations. Including insurance, Dme, and hospitals and procedures. If you you are looking for someone that has your best interest for your condition. Run ! This is not the place. If you had come before he deemed himself as Cancer treatment Center then you may have gotten better treatment.
