Having a colonoscopy is not something that anyone looks forward to but Dr. Irina along with the anestheologist, nurses and staff at Northern NJ Center for Advanced Endoscopy made the procedure quite literally painless. Everyone there was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. This procedure saves lives and I encourage everyone to undergo some temporary discomfort for the chance to improve your health.

I greatly appreciate the quality of care I received from Dr. Kaplounov and the pre-procedure and OR staff, but I believe it is crucial for post-anesthesia care to be handled with the same level of attentiveness. I would like to share a concern I had regarding my post-anesthesia experience. After the procedure, I felt quite dizzy, and it was only 15-30 minutes after the anesthesia had been administered. I was still struggling to stand up when someone grabbed my arm and pointed me towards the exit. I had thought that post-anesthesia monitoring would last at least an hour, and I was surprised that no one checked to see if I was able to walk safely. I mentioned that I was still feeling dizzy, yet instead of being asked to sit down or given further assistance, I was directed out of the office. This experience left me feeling rushed and a bit unsettled.

Dr. Kaplounov is very knowledgeable and professional. Her bedside manner is good, and she takes time and care. Her stuff and the office are very nice. I highly recommend it.
