Dr. Robinson & Office
It is difficult to leave a Dr. after 10 years but I am happy I did. I found my way to Dr. Irina Robinson. I have experienced both offices in Delray & Boca. The staff is professional, kind and efficient. My calls are returned in a timely manor. Dr. Robinson answers my questions and concerns in detail. Change isn't always good but this time it was. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Robinson.

Never got a visit. Made an appointment. My primary called them to send referral & they ask for lab work first then the nurse called me and said don't come. You don't need to see us. I asked how could you make that decision? She said we read your labs. I said, not the labs from my hematologist who referred me??? They had read my primary doctors labs not labs from my hematologist who referred me. Very very very very rude office. Lacey hung up on me when I was trying to ask if they could call me back when my doctor sends the referral? Totally unnecessary - Extremely rude office. Dr. Robinson may be a good doctor but you'd have to get past the pit bulls in her front office. So sad.

I made an appointment and was told to have my primary care send a referral. In the interim, I received a call back from Lacey who said there is no reason for you to come to our office and I am cancelling your appointment. I didn't understand and was on a work call and ask if I could call her back. I called back 5 times throughout the day getting the answering ser. & emergency line, until my last attempt. At that point, was told the same thing. I ask how could they make that assumption? She said they read my reports and I am fine. I ask what reports did you read? She said your primary doctor sent over your lab. I said my primary doctor didn't refer me to you, my hematologist did and you do not have their reports. She said well you need a referrel. I said o.k. my doctor will send it and won't call you as its been difficult getting though & before I could say I'll wait for you to call me back, she hung up. I called back she got nasty, this is a very very rude bunch not caring whatsoever

I've seen Dr. Robinson for over 10 years. I understand how she can be brusque and no nonsense but that is because she cares deeply about her patients' health. It afffects her deeply to see patients to not work hard to manage their health. I'm grateful to her for pushing me to do better and would not recommend another endocrinologist. As for the other individuals who left bad reviews because of her computer issues, it happened to be because of multiple upgrades to the computers at the Longmont Clinic.

I was T2d., 260 lbs and my A1c used to be above 10.0, Irina helped me lost weight recommending me to cut down on starchy food, eat more vegetables and eating more healthier and brought down by weight to 190 lbs and my BMI is 22.0 and my A1c is 5.7 and my blood sugars which were about 400 and now in the range of 100-120 even after food. She is an excellent doctor who thinks out of the box and reduces unnecessary medication that causes more side effects to the body and encourages proper diet and exercises to let the body heal and recover. I have completely stopped medications and I am in a much better healthy state because of the constant encouragement of Dr. Robinson. I would recommend her for T2d and to get rid of expensive medications.

Very unprofessional, mean spirited Doctor. Would not let me ask questions about test results and blamed computer updates for her own irresponsibility. Really should not be in practice at all. Made my life a lot harder.

I was misdiagnosed by Dr Robinson in 2014 and it took 3 years and me nearly dying for this to be corrected. This individual is sloppy, lacks empathy and is quite frankly really mean. She should not practice.

I could not get my a1c under control until I started working with Dr Robinson. She got me on a pump and had me see the diabetic educator. Because of her I got my a1c under 6 and was able to get pregnant and now have a healthy little girl!

Dr. Robinson and her nurse have no time for you... No time for me to took off my shoes, my coat and my scarf to get on the scale ( weight is pretty critical for my condition)... No time for the doctor to explain her diagnosis, she instead gave me a flyer.... No time for her to answer my questions, she was trying to leave... Not even time to look at all the medical tests I had, thanks god I asked!... For her, I'm just a bunch of lab results in wich she based everything ( diagnosis and medication)

Dr. Robinson is the worst doctor, endocrinologist or otherwise, that I have seen in years. She spent more time trying to get the computer working than she did talking to me. I had to wait three months to get in and see her and she acted like I was nothing, telling me I should see the nurse practitioner, not her. Who cares that I have problems with my thyroid, dyslipedemia, and various other issues - she didn't acknowledge that I needed treatment. She made me miss my old endocrinologist.
