Did not listen, barely made eye contact. Formed diagnosis without considering what I was telling her. No help to resolve thyroid issues. Probably a smart doctor, but needs to work on bedside manner.

Doctor did not keep on-time. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time which I was 15+ minutes on-time for to see her. I was put into a room and then the doctor came in and told the intern to move me to another room. The intern was extremely rude and talked over me. Asked how much longer it was going to be was told it would be another hour to an hour and a half. Told him I did not have that kind of time. Intern then excused himself to get the doctor. Dr came over 15 minutes later and says to me what do you wanna know? SERIOUSLY?? You’re the expert why don’t you explain what you do snd then ask me questions? She would ask a question and then as I tried to answer she would just keep talking. At one point I said I’m done. Terrible bedside manner! No wonder you have low reviews, and open time slots. What a waste of a $50 co-pay!

Unimpressed. The office is a nightmare. Good luck getting ahold of anyone there. Unable to talk to anyone or make an appointment. Always get answering machine and messages are not returned. Won't refill meds without appt, but can't make appt without returning calls. Very frustrating. Going elsewhere.

Frustrated Patient – Jul 13, 2021

I do not recommend this doctor. I have to pay a higher co-pay to see “a specialist”, but she is far from that. I have seen many amazing Endocrinologist’s across the US who have bent over backwards listening to me and switching doses to get my thyroid balanced. She just doesn’t listen to anything you say. I feel like I have done more research than her. The staff is very unfriendly and quick to collect your money first. This doctor spends less than five minutes assessing you. She just checks to see if your hands are shaking and then feels for a goiter-that’s it! She doesn’t care how you feel, just cares about what her books say. She has my friend cutting thyroid pills in half, which any good endocrinologist knows can cause major problems since these tiny pills are measured in micrograms. Parking at her office is impossible. I end up driving around for twenty minutes to find a spot. When I am late for my appointment, I have to wait u til she has seen everyone else before I can get in.

The entire experience with this Dr was horrible. I feel that she did not listen at all to a word we said (she actually spoke over us every time we tried to explain symptoms). She also spoke poorly of the primary care physician being seen and the hospital we were at when she saw us (she said we should not be there - that her office was better). In my opinion she has terrible bedside manner - she actually raised her voice at us when we tried to answer her questions. She tried several times to get us to make an appointment at her office and when we said we had a follow up with another Dr she said we should see her because she was better - and we didn’t even tell her the other doctors name! All she did was try to sell herself and her practice instead of help us. I am actually quite upset that she is allowed to see patients at all since she doesn’t listen and just tries to sell herself and her practice. I wish I could give her a negative star rating.

Dr. Veronikis has an unstable bedside manner and doesn't always incorporate patient's opinions into her course of medicinal actions. I trust Dr. Veronikis is a qualified and well-educated doctor, however, I feel as though she wasn't the best choice for a patient suffering from a macroadenoma (pituitary tumor).
