She should be beyond disappointed in how she treats her patients. Absolutely no help, she has no place being in healthcare as she does not believe her patients.

Compassionate physician
I have seen Dr. Cruz on several occasions, both for procedures and for consultations related to testing. I have experienced her as being warm, friendly, very learned in her field and kind. She has always taken the time to explain things to me and to answer my questions thoroughly. These older (negative) reviews definitely fail to reflect my experiences as her patient.

A nightmare is still too good to describe her! My wife is Chinese and speaks with an accent. Gonzalez (can't call her a doctor) has an accent as well. Imaging that. We paid our copay at 10:00 for our 10:30 appointment. Gonzalez came in to the room at 11:53. We had already read all the magazines twice. Anyway, when she came in she was in a big hurry to get things done, probably because she was so far behind. My wife was telling her about the symptoms, and literally 2 minutes into the visit, she told my wife to leave because she couldn't understand her. She was impatient as well as rude and a little racial. How can a woman who has a heave Latin accent throw my wife out because she has an accent? I am still miffed. (by the way Gonzalez, miffed means baffled). We asked for our copay back, and were denied that. As well we still got a bill. We are escalating this to the AMA, and other organizations.

A year ago I had my first colonoscopy. I felt so comfortable with Dr. Cruz - her initial examination, explanation of the procedure, and her care during the event - that I asked her if she could be my primary physician. Unfortunately she is a specialist and so she could not. I have recommended her many times since and will continue to do so.

Dr, Cruz diagnosed me with IBD back in February of 2014. She followed all the correct procedures and treatments that should have worked to help put this disease into remission. Unfortunately it didn't work out that out. I commend Dr Cruz for knowing my case was a little different and had the fortitude and knowledge to send me to another GI/Hospital for treatment.

The worst experience I have ever had with a Dr in my entire life. It's an embarrassing and uncomfortable situation when having a rectal exam, but to have the Dr tell you she can't do it because I'm too far was humiliating! Yes, I am a bit overweight but she made me feel like a whale!! I wouldn't recommend this Dr to anyone! I give 1 star because I can't give 0.

This Dr is not my primary but was the on call physician on Xmas weekend. I asked her that she please direct admit me to the hospital due to stage 4 cirrhosis symptons and her uneducated, impersonal, sarcastic reply was to admit myself to a rehab facility. I have been several years sober, and for this doctor to pass judgement on a person simply from her experience of dealing with past patients is completely ignorant on her part. Heaven forbid something happens to one of her relatives
