Dr. Kaufman is excellent.
Dr. Kaufman is top-notch. He is thorough, careful, and considered in his diagnosis and treatment. He really listens to you - he does NOT rush in and rush out, like so many other physicians. He keeps up with the latest medical research, and applies that knowledge to your case. Best of all, he's willing to work with you in crafting a treatment plan: he takes into consideration what you are (or are not) comfortable with. I've known Dr. Kaufman for many years, and have never been disappointed. He is one of a rare breed of old-fashioned physicians: the trusted family doctor.

Bad Billing department
Telehealth
I have a great respect for Dr Kaufman and his team. Only thing bothers me is their inefficient billing department, I have been accused so many time of not paying the copayment, I feel so humiliated and embarrassed and feel like a thief. Luckily I always ask for payment receipt so I am able to prove that I have paid the copayment. I feel like changing my doctor but Dr. Kaufman is the main reason I am staying with them.

Dr Kaufman is a highly skilled Geriatric Specialist who has a family practice. He is very knowledgeable & clear in his evaluations & thorough in his review of medical issues the patient is experiencing & explains in a simple direct manner how to manage illness, symptoms, medications & referrals. He is particularly concerned with CoVid-19 & the Delta Variant & keeping his patients healthy & safe. His protocol is extremely helpful when the patient experiences symptoms & if the patient needs hospitalization is available for Consult & oversee of care is impeccable. I have been a patient with Be Well Family Practice & Dr Kaufman for many many years. I highly recommend him & all his physicians without reservation. Choosing Dr Kaufman & his staff is the best decision I ever made.

His service is good but the facility is deplorable for a doctor's office. The bathroom is dirty dirty and dirty. The sink looked like germs breeding dish, with no soap to wash hands. With the paranoid time of covid and other diseases at high alert. Clean your facility. Please Your wife is not a good fit for your patronage, she is rude and her presence not good for a good working environment. Poor manager she is.

We've been wit Dr. Kaufman for over 19 years and have been very happy with him. His office staff has gone through many changes over the years and their service has been better as of late, but the most important part is Dr. Kaufman himself. He is willing to listen and explain and ask the questions needed. Because he can spend a lot of time with you and he's in great demand, his appointments tend to be very late as the day goes by. His associates/PAs have always been good and attentive as well.

Do not recommend. We made an appointment specifically with Dr Kaufman for my older son and younger daughter but when we got to the office they pushed us off to a much less experienced doctor for one child and a Physician Assistant for the other! They said Dr. Kaufman never sees a new patient on their first visit, but they lied because on a previous visit with my third child we did see Dr. Kaufman on our first visit, on that visit they were unable to take my 7 year old's blood pressure!

Dr. Kaufman is a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. I have a number of health issues and every specialist that he has sent me to have been tops in their fields. They have even remarked that "oh Dr. Kaufman he wants to know everything." If you are ever in the hospital, the staff knows that they had better keep a good eye on you because Dr. Kaufman will be checking. There isn't a more dedicated Dr. for his patients.
