very understanding and helpful with many issues

I've been seeing Dr. Lesniak regularly since February 2022, when I was in a very dark place and looking for help to get through it. She was incredibly kind and compassionate from the very start, listening deeply and taking a thorough inventory of my symptoms and medical history. After providing a diagnosis (incredibly validating in and of itself!), she's helped me to learn and implement positive lifestyle changes and find the right medication and dosage to manage my symptoms and help me get back to living again. I greatly appreciate how thorough and professional she is, and how she consults with both my PCP and therapist to provide the highest possible level of care. Though mental illness is a bumpy ride with no 'cure', knowing that I have Dr. Lesniak in my corner is a blessing and a comfort. If you're looking for a kind, supportive, and compassionate psychiatrist who will truly listen and see you as so much more than just a collection of symptoms, Dr. Lesniak is the person to call.

I have been working with Dr. Lesniak for about a year. Through systematic examination of my thoughts and feelings, she helped me identify areas where my assumptions and cognitive shortcuts were steering me wrong and causing me a lot of fear, despair, and anxiety.
