The first couple of appointments were good, treated skin issues, removed some dark spots, checked thoroughly for skin cancer, all really great. On the last visit though, he had no assistant in the room, and during the skin examination, without any warning he lowered my bra and looked at the breasts skin. I believe this is an important area to examine, too, and I am an old woman, however, I felt extremely uncomfortable. I'm glad I don't have to see him ever again.

Professional and Knowledgable
I go to Dr. Camacho for annual skin tests. He is very thorough and lets me know the whole time what he is doing and what, if anything, he finds. He picked up on precancerous skin cells that my previous dermatologist I had been seeing for five years hadn't picked up on. He answers questions I have. His office, if not him, answers through the UChart system very quickly.

Wrongly charged for lab work
I had a very disappointing experience with Dr Camacho. Before going to Dr Camacho I made sure he was part of my IN NETWORK and covered by my insurance. I went to see Dr Camacho because of a blemish on my leg. He told me that it was nothing serious and he could remove it. After the surgery, which took less than 3 minutes, he asked me if I wanted to have a biopsy performed just to be sure. I replied that I wanted to get the biopsy done. Three weeks later, I received a bill for $522 for the biopsy. I have been battling with the UM billing department and my insurance and it turned out that Dr Camacho without saying anything to me, sent the biopsy to an OUT of NETWORK lab which my insurance does not cover. This is absolutely ridiculous. If I go to an in network doctor, I would expect that anything that is performed during that visit falls under the in network deductible. Moreover, he should have asked me if I wanted the lab done despite being out of network. Absolutely unprofessional and di

I've had two appointments with him, and he was rushed, unfamiliar with what we had done in previous appointments, seemingly uninterested in explaining results, and 30+ minutes late to an appointment (second one of the day). Also the bills were much higher than expected - they don't care what services are covered by your insurance and what's not. No wonder he's always accepting new patients. Pick another dermatologist.

Saw him in 2017. Poor bedside manner. Did a biopsy on my scalp which then would not stop bleeding. Nurse had to call him back into the office to help patch me up. Seemed cavalier, impatient, and distracted. I felt devalued. :(

Amazing physician. His office staff is very attentive and thoughtful. Dr. Camacho took the time to listen to me and to look at the pictures I had taken to document my skin issues. He is confident and spot-on. His clinical sense extends beyond his contemporaries and I left his office grateful for and amazed at his genius. Dr. Camacho is a godsend. His confidence inspired hope in me that I will recover and that this nightmare will be over. I aspire to have such a profound impact on my future patients moving forward. Thank you for being an inspiration and helping struggling patients get the answers they need to overcome their health challenges .

Dr. Camacho was not interested in establishing a patient-physician relationship. I did all the talking. He asked me no questions in regards to my chief complaint. He told me to continue using the same treatment and took no time to educate or explain my medical condition. The only positive thing about the visit was the medical assistant.

I went to him to treat mild to moderate acne and he barely looked at my face then wanted to prescribe me accutane at first glance without listening to me or what I wanted at all. Accutane is a very intense medication with possible life-altering side effects and it only took him 30 seconds to decide to put me on it. Luckily I have been to other dermatologists previously and knew what Accutane was and that there were other options. Very unprofessional, uncaring, and wasted my time.

Wow I could not have received any worse of service in the world from this place. Stay away AT ALL COSTS. I saw a dermatologist for a giant pimple I had on my back and they gave me a quick Cortisone shot (which was totally the wrong thing to do), they then billed me the code CPT11900 which falls under OUTPATIENT SURGERY, and my bill was over $400 to see a simple dermatologist. Keep in mind I have the best insurance ever through my employer so all I should have been charged was a $50 copay.

As another reviewer stated rushed (less than 5 minute consultation) and poor bedside manner and really not interested attitude . Everything was rushed and biopsy results were left by assistant on voicemail.

Dr. Camacho was friendly and I did not have any particular issues with his consultation. He did tell me he was going to prescribe a medicine, which he later completely forgot to do. He focused mostly on the one issue and completely forgot about the other issue. The staff in his office is really uninterested in helping the patients. called several times, left messages and my calls were not returned. If you have an option find a different provider!

Although I believe he's knowledgeable not very cordial or friendly, would describe as arrogant. Appointment very rushed, asked my profession before proceeding in order to charge accordingly, requested unnecessary biopsies which was followed by costly lab work and procedure bills.

Nothing impressive at all. Very matter of fact. No good morning. No good afternoon. No please. No thank you. Fill this out. Insurance card. Drivers license. Common courtesies are lacking by staff as well as MD. It is a production line and as a patient you are just one of many. What was done was not medically negligent, it just wasn't friendly or comforting by any stretch of the imagination. Zap! Cut! See you in a month! Any questions? Good Bye. That is pretty much the extent of the visit.
