Dr. Ivan Herstik, DPM

I have seen Dr. Herstick a total of three times and I cannot do it anymore. He is rude and very condescending in how he speaks to his patients. The first thing he does when he enters the room, is sigh, purses his lips, and roll his eyes. He does not bother to greet you with a 'hello, how are you?' or anything. He does not bother to have a conversation about your concerns, nor does he care. He is not pleasant at all.

I had pain in my heel. I was in pain a week later. Dr. Herstik immediately found I had a shard of glass impeded in my heel. In a few short minutes he removed in and I am pain free. I had some other foot issue and he resolved everything very quickly and was quite informative. Great Doctor

Dr. Herstik examined me for just a few moments due to feeling like my “foot bones were out of place” before stating I have hypermobility. He completely changed my life in less than ten minutes. After a lifetime of moderate to severe chronic musculoskeletal pain, he helped me start the process of being diagnosed with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I am forever grateful for his level of expertise and exceptionally attentive bedside manner.

I highly recommend Dr. Herstik! He’s a Great doctor. Educates his patients and is extremely thorough. I am very happy with the care I received.

I felt completely ripped off. He spent 20 minutes with me and I was charged $1,200. He gave me a foot brace and I asked him if this was going to cost me something and he said no. NOT TRUE I was billed $400 for the item and it is available for $36 on the internet. He taped my foot which literally took 1 minute and I was charged over a $100 and it was coded as casting. I have called 3 times and emailed with the client relations person Deborah. She is nice and tells me someone will get back to me but no one does. DON'T GO TO WESTMED unless you want to get PRICE GOUGED.
