Dr. Ivan Spector is a brilliant physician!!! My dad was "not feeling like himself" for several years. After consulting with several specialists including endocrinologists, neurologists, internists, and geriatricians no one could figure out what was wrong with my dad. He suffered from headaches, tremors, anxiety upon waking and gradually those symptoms would subside by the evening.. Dr Spector was able to diagnose my dad immediately. My dad is now feeling great!! The first time in years thanks to Dr. Spector. I highly recommend Dr. Spector he's the best!!!

Nothing adverse to say about the doctor. However, if you plan on him being your physician, good luck getting through to his office to make an appointment, change an appointment, cancel an appointment. #1: They never answer the phone. #2 If you are lucky enough to have them answer it, they put you on hold and never come back. Case in point - I have been on hold for 28 minutes now, and can guarantee that they will never pick up.

Pick up the phone! I literally called over 50 times since 9am. They picked up the phone once and put me on hold for 17mins before I hung up. They do not return messages. Looking for a new doctor. This is ridiculous.

I moved back to Houston just so I could see Dr Spector. I Called a couple of weeks ago .I gave my information. I told the receptionist I still had a couple of refills. She said not a problem call when I was ready.I just filled my last prescription. I called today .I was told taking no patience. I am in panic mode. I feel really let down.

He's more of a talk to you kind of Dr. He doesn't prescribe any medicines that are gonna help you it seems like. He was so so adament on putting me on Serequel. Turned me into a zombie. He said a lot of my problems came from not sleeping. Turns out I grind my teeth bad, that's whats caused my not sleeping well. Not stress and problems. I got a dental guard for sleep. I sleep lovely now. Been off that medicine a year now. I still need medicine probably but not that crap. He scared to prescribe.

I have complete confidence in the care Dr Spector provides. We worked together in the hospital and I find him to be one of the brightest and most empathetic psychiatrists out there. I recommend him to my friends. He is triple board certified therefore you can trust his decisions. I highly recommend him for your needs.

Very bad opinion . Does'nt know how to treat patients, moreover no much time spent to hear pt's problems. Staff never picks up the call , to get an appointment with the doctor .Just waste of time.Better find any other doctor .

Doesn't spend enough time with each patient and doesn't properly listen to patient concerns. He typically tries to finish in less than 5 minutes.
