AVOID, will charge you for unnecessary procedures
AVOID, will charge you for unnecessary procedures. His office is also unresponsive and he brushed off requests to speak with him. Also, clumsy hands and examination.

Dr. Ives Valenzuela
Dr. Valenzuela has been my Opthalmologist for about a year, and he performed cataract surgery on me this week. It was such a relief to switch to him and his practice. The practice is calm and helpful, which was amazing coming from chaos in my previous practice. Dr. Valenzuela, a specialist in my two issues - glaucoma and cataracts - is thoughtful, patient, and gives great explanations. He never makes you feel he is rushing to the next patient. My cataract surgery went amazingly well. His instructions were clear, he set explanations appropriately to help me make decisions. I feel so lucky to have Dr. Valenzuela as my Opthalmologist.

Impressed!
I saw Dr Valenzuela for the first time on May 2nd 2024 this was a 2nd opinion visit for me. First of all his credentials are impressive. He was friendly, kind, thorough, energetic, informative, he listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable and assured with the treatment plan and any other treatments that could possibly be of help in the future. I am so happy I found him and plan to continue in his care for my Glaucoma.

Dr. Valenzuela is an excellent physician
Dr. Valenzuela is an exceptional ophthalmologist whose expertise and care are unparalleled. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. I was confused about glaucoma before seeing Dr. V - his diagnosis and treatment plan have me feeling reassured. Feel fortunate to be his patient.
