Dr. Mansur should retire.
Dr. Mansur has lost the edge he likely had years ago. I was referred to him by my primary care doctor for my prostate cancer. First step was getting a biposy which would produce a Gleason score (1-9). Didn't know what a Gleason score was and all he said was my biopsy results indicated aggressive growth. He delivered this information over the phone at night (not in a typical office visit). When had an office visit a week later (after I had searched the internet about what a Gleason score meant, what the stages meant, types of prostate cancer, treatment options, etc.). At one point I ask about the 'new' PSA PET scan that was in clinical trials. He did a quick dodge and said he was aware of it but it wouldn't be approved for several years. I found out later that day that the FDA had approved the scan almost a year prior. He didn't know and hadn't kept up. I'm sure he was once the best urologist in town, but now I wonder.

I never had a visit because when the receptionist called the 1st time she left me a message but I couldn't call back right away & then it slipped my mind. I have had a lot of trauma, stress & heartache recently & some tasks don't get done in a timely manner! When she called again 1 1/2 weeks later I called back the next day. LONG STORY SHORT- Because I didn't call back "way back in the beginning" (a week & a half ago) & I had financial worries about the $30 copay for every specialist visit, the lady told me to "FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR"! Never mind that I STILL NEED HELP!

The staff is great! But Terry the receptionist is very rude. If Dr. Mansur wasn,t such a good doctor I would not go there because of Terry!
