Old School Approach.
Busy or not, Dr. Dennington ALWAYS enters with a smile and his undivided attention. That also goes for his team of nurses and technicians. Outstanding staff. Oddly enough, I look forward to visiting.

I was visiting Dr. Dennington for my primary care. ADC charged me for my wellness visit as office visit. Initially I thought must've been mistake. But no, apparently this is due to some "concerns" I raised during the visit. The response from ADC was (exact words) "if you discuss any concern during your wellness visit, it's considered office visit and you'll be charged for it. Wellness visit is so that doctor can physically see you and get blood work done." Well, that's not the kind of "wellness" visit I want. I had called before my visit and nurse confirmed the concerns I had are part of wellness visit discussion. More than anything, the source of the issue is the doctor himself for putting in wrong billing codes. I wouldn't trust someone so dishonest for my health concerns.

I switched to Dr. Dennington in the height of the pandemic. His approach was more aggressive and overly cautious that I was used to - but I appreciate his thoroughness. The wait times have been minimal, yet he is not rushed during appointments. His nursing staff utilizes the Healow App and respond in a timely manner, even when consulting with Dr. Dennington about a question or issue. I have been very happy with my decision to switch my primary care to Dr. Dennington.

While Dr. Dennington is a great Dr. it is possible to get in to see him unless it is a regular follow up. You need to schedule your needs. Don't get sick because he is not available for days the standard answer from his nurse find another Dr. for help.
