Dr. J David Schmitz, MD

I would highly recommend Dr. Schmitz to anyone. He has been a great doctor and really cares about his patients. He listens and shares helpful info to improve the situation.

I had a tele/video apt with Dr. Schmitz after a hospital stay. As he has always been the many years he has been my doctor he was very efficient, concerned, and helpful. He put my mind at ease and helped me to change my health care needs to fit my new situation. He took plenty of time to hear all of my concerns and answered my questions. His other team members and especially Anna are also a big part of that great team that make me appreciate all they do. A big Thank You to all.

Terrible doctor! Would never recommend him based on two experiences. - Does not pay attention/listen. Ex: Come in for broken bones and is surprised there are x-rays even after i told him there were and ignored when i said it hurt. - He said he'd follow up with the radiologist for another reading. I had to call back and find out he never did. - Potentially misdiagnosed a family member because he "doesn't believe in the disease" (MS), therefore family member is not getting proper treatment. (They won't get a 2nd opinion) - Kind of a jerk (talking "above" us as a doctor )

Dr. Schmitz is always personable when I come..He reminds me of how home visits use to be when I was growing up. He's cares about his patients.

I already have. My daughter, Jocelyn Moore. I sometimes have to wait a long time. Today was not like that.

Thank you so much for all you do for my wife, you have been her doctor for a long time you are always on top of making sure to check her to make sure she is in her best health.

I had to wait 2 hours before seeing the doctor. By the time I did see him I was rushed and unable to get satisfaction with the multiple issues I needed addressed. I felt like having to wait 2 hours was unprofessional and disrespectful. I didn't get one of the blood tests I requested and wasn't given any feedback about what the blood tests revealed as far as treatment implications. Obviously, too many patients scheduled in not enough time. This is no doubt what you get when corporate America does health care. I think Dr. Schmitz is an excellent doctor, but I was not satisfied with my experience. I would continue to see him if he were working in a setting where I could feel like my issues could be fully addressed, and not treated with such disregard. This is probably more an issue of Ogden Clinic than this doctor.

David is a wonderful doctor and I am confident and comfortable in his care.

It was very quick and professional. Front desk was a little backed up but efficient. Nurse and Doctor were great.

He is the best Doctor I have ever had. And that includes a Doctor I had for 25 years in Arizona. He is thorough and you hardly ever have to go back for anything twice. I would highly recommend this Doctor to all.

I've been going to Dr. Schmitz for over 12 years and there's a reason I keep going back. Dr. Schmitz educates me with every appointment I make while keeping my feelings and concerns in mind. My family and I will continue going to Ogden Clinic and seeing Dr. Schmitz.
