Traumatic, Frustrating, Unprofessional
Totally inaccurate recollection of how the 1st appointment went with my mother (for which my mother's aide was present), insisted that his surgery recommendations never happened (when he had), and that he supposedly had notes of the appointment which matched nothing that my mother or her aide recollected. She was talked down to by him and claimed she must have PTSD involving discussions about her accident and that she should probably look for another surgeon if she doesn't want to take his recommendations. When she told him where her physician was located, he had nothing but derogatory and blatantly inaccurate things to say about the hospital and network they were located at, and said that she must indeed be on the much lower income side of she was going there.Completely unprofessional, dismissive, and all around arrogant in a field where compassion and empathy for patients (especially the elderly) should be heard and not dismissed.

Knee Replacement
Dr. Parr replaced my right knee in 2018. All went well and able to have full motion and walk with no pain. The scar heeled well and looks better than anyone else's I have seen. I can highly recommend him.

I had a total knee replacement with Dr. Part in March 2019. My new ones works great. In my opinion, Dr. Parr was easy to talk to and gave thorough and specific answers to my questions. He took the time to make sure I understood everything he would do and what would be required of me after surgery. I have several of his business cards that I keep in my purse to give to friends who ask me about my experience. I'll be seeing him for him replacement next week and anticipate another positive outcome.

I am seeing Dr. Parr for a very complex hip revision. He is excellent. Calm, answered questions thoroughly, confident.

Dr. Parr replaced my hip almost 3 years ago, and I couldn't be happier. It was a life-changing surgery for me. Dr. Parr has always answered my questions and explained what I needed to know. It was difficult to initially get in to see him as I had the surgery at Eskenazi and the wait time as quite long. (I believe Dr. Parr was the only ortho surgeon at the time.) It was worth the wait! If I needed to have my other hip replaced, I wouldn't hesitate to visit Dr. Parr again.

My mother in law had a total hip replacement in 2013 and she calls it the hip from help. Her hip swells and she can hardly walk at times. Dr Parr should be out business. She said he is rude and don't know how to talk to people.
